I must come clean that I pushed these M Night movies on our wonderful hosts and I wanna say they have done such a great job enduring these obviously awfu-JUST KIDDING THEY ARE BEING BABIES AND WOULDN'T KNOW A GOOD MOVIE IF IT HIT THEM IN THE MOOD RING. The Happening is perfect don't believe the blatant LIES in this episode.
An apocalyptic threat to humanity arrives out of the clear blue sky with a series of violent, inexplicable deaths spreading across the country. Soon it becomes clear that no one is safe.
YALL. If we weren't friends before we better be now. We are doing favors for you now. This one is where it's like, you owe us now. This is important actually. This week we watched Lady In The Water and listen... we don't need you to reciprocate but like it would be nice if you acknowledged we did something nice for you here. We're not getting this time back, okay?
NO YOU'RE PRETTY. This week we watched Pretty In Pink! From mild creeps to major creeps, this movie has it all (and like really nice stuff too or whatever). Do these two burly men have the modern male empathy to appreciate a romcom from the 80s or will they fall even further into their classic misogynistic ways?? (This is obviously a joke, this is the editor typing and obviously this is a joke. Please believe me. I'm trying to build a rapport with you all where you can trust that we are kind people and statements like this are so clearly a joke. I love you.) TUNE IN AND FIND OUT.
Andie (Molly Ringwald) is an outcast at her Chicago high school, hanging out either with her older boss (Annie Potts), who owns the record store where she works, or her quirky classmate Duckie (Jon Cryer), who has a crush on her. When one of the rich and popular kids at school, Blane (Andrew McCarthy), asks Andie out, it seems too good to be true. As Andie starts falling for Blane, she begins to realizes that dating someone from a different social sphere is not easy.
EVER WANTED TO HIT SOMEONE? We have! So, continuing the theme of watching movies we haven't seen, we watched the long overdue Rocky! Does it live up to the hype? Is this one a knockout? Does this movie deserve the some 200 sequels it receives. LET US TELL YOU (without judging it too hard cause how fun are movies folks?)
Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), a small-time boxer from working-class Philadelphia, is arbitrarily chosen to take on the reigning world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), when the undefeated fighter's scheduled opponent is injured. While training with feisty former bantamweight contender Mickey Goldmill (Burgess Meredith), Rocky tentatively begins a relationship with Adrian (Talia Shire), the wallflower sister of his meat-packer pal Paulie (Burt Young).
I'm sick of this will they won't they between you and us. We've gone through so much together and our friendship I just... I think we should take it to the next level and FINALLY WATCH WHEN HARRY MET SALLY TOGETHER. Or hell. What if WE watch it and then we tell you about it over the course of the next hour so. What if we give you all of the fun facts, and appreciate all of the iconic scenes, and all you gotta do is hit play. Is this a weird episode description? yeah. Have I lost the plot? yeah. Big time. I struggle with affection.
In 1977, college graduates Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) share a contentious car ride from Chicago to New York, during which they argue about whether men and women can ever truly be strictly platonic friends. Ten years later, Harry and Sally meet again at a bookstore, and in the company of their respective best friends, Jess (Bruno Kirby) and Marie (Carrie Fisher), attempt to stay friends without sex becoming an issue between them.
If you got to the end of equalizer 1 and equalizer 2 and were like "I've probably had enough" WELL THEN FUCK YOU. We watched Equalizer 3 and... I mean there's a lot here people. We have to talk about it. Please be our shoulder to (emotional action depicting how we felt about the movie) on.

WE'RE BACK BABY. New and IMPROVED! Finally! We heard your notes: "better movies!" "more horror!" "give up!" and we hear you and we take it to heart. SO HERE WE ARE WITH THE MUMMY. Folks. FOLKS. Everyone knows the 3rd movie in a trilogy is always the best and this is, of course, no exception. Let us explain this to you: this movie is perfect. It's absolutely perfect.
