Desafortunadamente, han habido demasiados casos en los que se han perdido vidas inocentes de estudiantes, maestros y personal. Nadie entendió qué llevó a José Ángel Ramos Betts, un niño de 11 años de Torreón, Coahuila, a ir a su escuela la mañana del 10 de enero de 2020 y cometer el crimen que cometió.

Schools should be a safe place for our children to be. Unfortunately, there have been too many cases where innocent lives of students, teacher's, and staff's lives have been taken away. Nobody understood what drove Jose Angel Ramos Betts, an 11-year-old boy from Torreon, Coahuila, to go to his school on the morning of January 10, 2020 and commit the crime that he did.

Hasta el punto donde la víctima piensa que es su culpa por la cual el agresor actúa de esa manera o que la víctima merece ser tratada/o así. Viviam Paola Urrego, desafortunadamente, se enamoró de la persona equivocada. Ella sufrió múltiples abusos en las manos de su esposo, Javier Giovanny Ceballos. El 31 de Marzo del 2012, Giovanny le arrebató la vida a su esposa y dejó a su hija sin madre.

An abuser uses tactics to make the victim fear him or her and feel that there is no way out. To the point where the victim thinks it is their fault that the aggressor acts that way or that the victim deserves it. Viviam Paola Urrego, unfortunately, fell in love with the wrong person. She suffered multiple abuses at the hands of her husband, Javier Giovanny Ceballos. On March 31, 2012, Giovanny took the life of his wife and left their daughter without a mother.

El engaño en una relación causa mucho daño y a veces es irreparable. En el 2017, 87,000 mujeres fueron asesinadas en todo el mundo. 58% (50,000) de ellas fueron asesinadas por una pareja o un familiar. Eso significa que al dia, 137 mujeres son asesinadas. De esas 50,000, 30,000 son asesinadas por una pareja actual o anterior. No importa que tan enojado/a, lastimado/a, avergonzado/y decepcionado/a estes, matar a alguien por un engaño no debería de ser una solución. En septiembre del 2021, Priscila de Sousa Goncalveo perdió la vida en manos de su esposo y el único testigo presente fue su amante, que al final decidió no ayudarla.

¿Qué común son los feminicidios entre pareja? Entre Enero y Mayo del 2021, la Organización de Mujeres Salvadoreñas por la Paz declaró que al menos 71 feminicidios fueron reportados. Viene siendo 34 % más que en el 2020. En El Salvador, los crímenes contra la mujer no han sido contados como crímenes con castigo justo. Pero en el 2018, un crimen contra una reportera cambió el rumbo de cómo se castigan los crímenes de feminicidio en El Salvador. Hoy hablaremos de la reportera Karla Turcios, y el primer feminicidio de El Salvador.

Jesus, Keyla, and Sofia had a very short life, a life that was taken away by a person they loved and trusted the most. They were victims of their parents' problems. Andromeda and Jesus seemed to have a happy family, but on July 5, 2015, 3 beautiful lives were lost. In the end, there are two different versions of what happened that night, but up until now, the only one responsible for this is in prison paying for the crime.

Isabel Martinez's family appeared to be a happy, supportive, and close family. She and Martin had 5 lovable children. A family of 2 hard working parents, who enjoyed spending time as a family. It wasn’t until Isabel lost her father that everything took a turn. Her mental health issues became more apparent. Those that new Isabel could not even recognize her as her behavior changed drastically. No one could imagine the horrific events that would occur that night of July 5, 2017. Five beautiful lives were lost in such a brutal and inhumane way.
