So, What‘s the Problem?

In this special bonus episode, Jim and I discuss the short pilot presentation Madness: The Pilot. A pitch reel written by Ben Elton and Richard Curtis to try to get the British band Madness their own comedy show. It failed, obviously. The pilot is only 12 minutes long, so bonus episode it is! Enjoy! Contains strong language.

Tysto returns to talk about something we both actually enjoyed! It stars Robert Forster, Don Johnson and a really rather good Mark Hamill as the bad guy in this cop thriller. It's a 70s show so it's a tad dated at times and it may not replace Tysto's beloved Bunco but we liked it. I'm glad, we can't hate them all! Jen is back to talk about the shockingly not awful sit-com, Our 30s. We talk about the impressive cast (Rashida Jones, Rachel Blanchard and Peter Serafinowicz, whose name I mispronounce, throughout) and how the show turns sit-com tropes on their heads. For this bonus episode, I decided to re-visit an early one that Tysto and I recorded about the Nathan Fillion starring Alligator Point. I have fixed audio issues to the best of my abilities and basically just re-edited the entire thing. There is stuff here that was not in the original cut but also stuff that was but no longer is. It is shorter and leaner and now also includes sound clips of the pilot in question. I just messed about with it, to be honest. Enjoy.

Tysto is back to talk about the s(h)it-com Area 57 about a bastard alien that has been locked up in a top secret government facility for 40 years and the wacky humans he torments. This thing never aired, so we talk about the temp music track, the rather impressive (and totally wasted) cast and just how badly written and directed it is. We talk about the likeable cast, the writers and a certain character/punchline that really should not have been a thing in 2007. As usual, Jen finds things to like, which is great but, boy, there is a lot to dislike. Contains strong language

Jim Cliff from the Fallacious Trump Podcast returns to chat about the really rather weird feature length pilot, Steel Justice AKA Robosaurus. It's a Blade Runner wannabe but with a giant metal dinosaur inhabited by the soul of a cop's murdered son. There is also a time travelling magic immortal monk for added whattheheckery. Enjoy!

Jen from the Pilot Inspectors podcast returns to talk to me about the first time that they tried to make a new MacGyver series. It failed but it's lead is currently on his 15th season of a popular TV show, so it's all good. We talk the original (kind of), the cast and marvel at the sheer blandness of it all.It is so dull, Jen zones out for a bit. She talks so little after a while that I have actually kept in a long tangent about Fifty Shades of Grey. Enjoy! This was recorded before news of Supernatural's cancellation was announced.
