Tysto joins Jimmy to chat about the rather odd sit-com The Ghost Writer (1990). It stars Anthony Perkins as a writer with a new family who discovers his previously alive wife disapproves... Jimmy loves the theatrically of it all and misses when multi-camera sit-coms had big sets and special effects but agrees that the story is lacking. Tysto is just baffled...

It's our anniversary episode so we are doing a pilot that didn't get picked up in this incarnation but became one of the biggest franchises in the world. Star Trek: The Cage features Captain Pike and his band of "who the heck are they"'s. Oh and some emotional idiot pretending to be Spock. My sound isn't the best on this but I tried my best to fix it. I failed. Enjoy!

Jen from the Pilot Inspectors podcast returns to talk about the Eliza Dushku led Nurses. Dushku plays Eve who has a new job at a hospital run by her disapproving dick of a father and where her smarmy dick of a step-brother also works. We talk about the problematic nature of some of the pilot, one character in particular but we do actually give credit where it is due in parts. We also discuss the fact they were clearly copying Grey's Anatomy. Oh and Buffy reunion as Tom Lenk is briefly in the pilot. This episode was recorded in October 2018.
