This week it is all Sonia!  We figured out pretty quickly that we have a lot in common with her and it helped to make a great conversation.

She talked a little about her childhood, when she started drinking and how it escalated to a daily activity.   A successful business woman, with a "work hard play hard" mentality, then actually had a cognizant thought that she should get sober and she did it.

Sonia is the founder of EverBlume, which provides small group recovery meetings where members are matched into groups based on what they are struggling with (i.e. The First 90 Days, Self-Esteem, Grief, Relationships). The goal is for members to find connection through conversation, and get meaningful support and feedback from each other.  She tells us how she started that and what she is doing with it today.
