This is a recording of a live event held in the Whale Theatre "Social Fabric Podcast - Up close and personal".

My guest is Louize Carroll, psychologist, composer, musician and founder of Prism Online Therapy.

She has published peer reviewed papers, she is a regular contributor the Sunday Business Post and on national radio stations such as TodayFM.

She works as a psychologist but she is also a composer, songwriter and bass player with The Blizzards.

In the conversation we navigate through her amazing career this far as well as discussing a number of topics that she sees therapy room.

After experiencing first hand the importance of therapy, RIchard went on a quest to create a platform to make therapy accessible and affordable, in the hope that more people will be able to get the benefit of therapy.

Richard worked for years in the tech industry but a number of personal circumstances had him spiralling into a dark place of depression that culminate with an attempt at ending his own life less than two years ago.

I am grateful to Richard for sharing his story in a very open and honest manner.

Jenny is a qualified trainer with 20 years experience in education and training. She has an MA in Leadership in Therapeutic Child and Social Care while her Bachelor Degree is in Applied Social Care. She also holds a Diploma in Community Development Practice, and a Certificate in Education and Training.

Jenny believes that preventative and educative work is really important, so that we can ensure that our children and young people are adequately prepared for young adulthood.

Paddy Holohan is the manager at Supervalu supermarket, in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

He is a well respected community man with a love for the outdoor and fitness.

Beatrice, originally form Germany, travel and worked all over the world in the hospitality business for years, before deciding to settle in Ireland about 10 years ago.

Catriona is the founder and owner of beauty salon, Creative Hands, in Greystones, Co.Wicklow.

Whilst her passion for the beauty business has brought her successes as an entrepreneur, her personal life was thrown upside down after the death of her second child, Daniel.
