Another life update! Miami is filled with Scorpio men, great sex and ducks. And we experienced it all in one day! Welcome to episode 7 of season 2: today we switched it up a little. Sofie took a break from her non-monogamous relationship to experience a wild night with her Aries fuck buddy, while Dana took a break from seeing her Miami Scorpio fling to have a romantic date with an older Cancer (that ended up involving a duck name Patrice).

Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault & Rape

Sex should always be consensual and enjoyable for both parties, but unfortunately we (and many other women) have been through some traumatic experiences and we share them all in this episode with a very important message. We hear the term “validation” a lot when it comes to dating & sex, but do we really know what is means to sleep with someone for validation? Can you differentiate when you choose to sleep with someone because you want to or is it because you want to feel validated from your partner? If you don’t, it’s ok, we didn’t either and it’s not something to be ashamed of! However, it is something that should be discussed, especially surrounding the topic of casual sex. It’s also important to talk about consent- if it’s not enthusiastic consent, it’s not consent. And, remember it can be removed at any time! If you’ve gone through similar experiences like us, just know that you’re not alone and it’s never too late to heal. We also talk about love languages and how ours have changed in the past months! So, though this episode may contain some serious topics, it’s not all heavy!

We talk about sex a lot on this podcast and even though it’s fun, we have to address the important (not so fun) stuff too. There’s nothing sexier then safe sex. Condoms should be a priority in any sexual scenario and don’t let any guy tell you otherwise. We’ve both had STI’s and it’s not fun and never worth it. We’ve experienced every scenario possible in which guys will avoid using condoms and it doesn’t matter their age, how mature they are or how much they like you. Use a condom. Unfortunately, we’ve also heard a lot of women talking about sexual hygiene, and it’s always for the “benefit” of the man: “shave your body head to toe, use vaginal wash, buy these vanilla vaginal suppositories..” the list goes on and its just not worth it. Men do not care! Shaving hurts and your vagina is self cleaning, so put down the razor every other day and go have (responsible) fun! Now that the serious talk is out of the way, Dana is still in Miami and loving every minute of it. We talk about a funny story that happened on a yacht and our first time at the beach together in our 8 years of friendship.

Many of you have been asking us about Tarot and how we incorporate it into our daily lives. SO, you ask and you shall receive. In this episode we talk all things tarot and how it can be used as a great tool the strengthen the intuition and as a form of self reflection. 

We give you the super basic information around tarot and oracle cards (we are obviously not experts) and we encourage you to explore using them as a vehicle to heighten your self awareness.

There is a lot of negative stigma surrounding tarot, but we honestly believe if you go into using them with good intentions then you’ll receive good feedback. If you are still unsure about using tarot, do some more research- because whatever you put into the cards you will get back.

This episode is for us. We’ve been here for 7 years and it’s time to end this chapter of our lives. It’s where we met, where we partied, where we hustled, where we started AND ended our career and now it’s time to move on. But before we do this, we want to tell you how we feel about this city and why we want to leave. Again, this is our point of view and we obviously loved Toronto at one point, but it’s just not our vibe anymore!
