It’s inevitable that we will experience overwhelming moments in life. Whether the environment around you feels a bit too overstimulating with loud sounds or big crowds, or your to do list gets filled with even more tasks that you weren’t prepared for that day and it all seems urgent to complete, or maybe (talking specifically to you ladies) you’re in a certain phase of your cycle where you are extra sensitive to everything, being overwhelmed is such a normal human experience. Though, that doesn’t mean that it’s the best feeling to sit in, and I wanted to share a few of my go to techniques that help ground me and help get me out of that fight or flight mode.
Disclaimer here, I am not a doctor, and I am not licensed in any way to say for certain these tools will help you. I understand we are all different and what works for me may not work for you. But perhaps by sharing some of the things that I do in these moments, you can take what resonates and it’ll give you ideas to implement in your own life, in a way that works for you. Ultimately, I wanted to remind you that you are NOT alone when you feel this way, and I’m here for you shedding light on the fact that getting overwhelmed is SO normal.
As always, thank you for spending this time with me. It means a great deal to my heart and soul. As a reminder, you are so loved and so valued in this world.
