“Some guys have all the luck…Some guys do nothing but complain.” Those lyrics from a 1980’s pop song sum up spiritual Truth perfectly. Whatever we are complaining about, we are casting ourselves as the victim of that very thing. We are sending a negative message to our subconscious mind, telling it that we are a victim. When we do, the subconscious goes to work to make it so and we will encounter more to complain about. Remember: Gratitude is the Law of Increase. Complaint is the Law of Decrease. Knowing this to be true, let us commit to appreciating more and complaining less.
