“Some guys have all the luck…Some guys do nothing but complain.” Those lyrics from a 1980’s pop song sum up spiritual Truth perfectly. Whatever we are complaining about, we are casting ourselves as the victim of that very thing. We are sending a negative message to our subconscious mind, telling it that we are a victim. When we do, the subconscious goes to work to make it so and we will encounter more to complain about. Remember: Gratitude is the Law of Increase. Complaint is the Law of Decrease. Knowing this to be true, let us commit to appreciating more and complaining less. On this episode, Darrell and Ed encourage listeners to start employing Saint Paul’s three-step system for success: “Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly.
