I know for me when I first heard of boundaries I thought it meant putting up a wall, closing people off, and being hard to work with or unreasonable when in actuality, it is more about building bridges and getting to a place where everyone’s needs are being met. When working with someone, we are dealing with two different sets of expectations; setting boundaries then becomes more about being flexible enough to make those expectations met than building a barrier between us.
Today’s guest is Karlee Fain, Celebrity Business and Boundary Coach who is both incredibly powerful and one of the most present people I have ever met. She is an Author, Speaker, Founder of The Boundary Academy, and host of the Messy And Magnificent Podcast. Since she was a little child, Karlee had a deep sense of compassion and an urge to make people feel safe.
In this episode, we get into pretty much all of the topics that speak to my soul like getting quiet enough to really listen to your true self, being led by your intuition, and what boundaries are, why we need them, and how to implement them in a way that benefits all. We also talk about how to check with ourselves after we level up, be with ourselves at all times during our growth journey, and how important it is to be flexible sometimes and do the things that make us feel alive.
Karlee also shared some advice to improve confidence, the idea of collective wisdom that runs under The Boundary Academy, the power of seeking connection instead of hiding, and much more.
