It’s Collaboration Monday, Some People Suck Podcast teamed up with It’s All Gone Terribly Wrong Podcast to bring you a banger. They have been podcasting for over 3 years and have won Inweeky’s Best of The Coast 2 times now and were in a Downtown Crowd spread, so we had to have them on to give them their flowers and congratulate them. Today we sat down with local award winning and highly respect Chef Edward Lordman of Polonza Bistro located off Palafox in Downtown Pensacola, FL. He recently had the honor of winning Best of the Coast 2021, Best Up-And-Coming Chef, and has no plans on slowing down. He's currently one of the leaders of the new school era of chef's that are representing for Pensacola. We get into his up brining, he's passion for the culinary arts and where his inspiration and love for cooking arose from. We absolutely loved every minute learning and talking with him. Good News, this is our first fight companion, it went super well, bad news, all the footage is lost, in the midst of the chaos of recording the memory card seemed to run into an issue past the 3 hour mark and when trying to upload the video it disappeared, won't happen again! Anyways we sit down with Cedric Banks, a long time friend of the podcast, to catch up and break down the UFC 268 card, we had a blast and can't wait to add this to our stable of shows! What a night! Boy, do we have a special episode for you guys today, we have on local and future Mixed Martial Arts legend Juan Alvarez Jr. of Team Remedy. A young up and coming 1st generation Cuban/American, his parents came over on banana boats from Cuba and made a home in Miami before ultimating calling Pensacola his home, like many refugees before them growing up in a country with a new language wasn't easy but they made it happen and with more potential then anyone of recent memory, Juan is posed to be the biggest thing to ever come out of Pensacola, FL since Roy Jones Jr. except he will be the first Juan Alvarez Jr. of MMA, can't wait for you guys to hear this one, a family man first, that will do whatever it takes to provide for his growing family, he is so well spoken and I believe this episode will shed a different light on him and show a side I don't think many people have seen, solid ass dude! The boys sit down with another musically talented artist/mogul and Company Owner of "Not4Sale", 00hiem or Teddy, but really he has his eyes set way higher then just albums and ep's. He plans on have music, film, merch, scripts, sounds, visuals, artists, studios...investing back into the culture and future. Nothing happens over night and he is a perfect example of continuing to grind and put on for the city, I know one thing, the world will know his sound. We get into so much of the past and present of the musical industry and paying homage to who has come before and collaborating with the present to create the sound of the future. how he started making music of his phone and all the evolutions of his musical process.
