A buy the dip market has turned in to a sell the rip market - CLEARLY

Yesterday was all about bond rates

Powell in Jackson hole last year spoke for 8 minutes around this time to send the market to the October lows …. That could happen this time but I just have a feeling this is nothing

After this, I wanted to see how many stocks in different watch lists traded under the 200 day weekly SMA - so I created a scanner in Trendspider.

$NVDA and $SMCI - both pulled back in a big way

$NVDA trades at 40 forward PE - so it’s only trading at the average

PEG ratio for $NVDA is the LOWEST it’s traded over the last 5 years

$CSCO traded VERY similar in the early 2000’s. That was up 71,000% in hit’s 10 year timeframe - so far $NVDA is much less.

$ET - the CEO keeps buying even more HUGE amounts - this one has got to be doing well.

$vfs - continues to just fly - SPAC - here’s a spac story from yesterday

Earnings

$intu - met - nothing crazy - down 2%

$jwn - luxury retail kills it again - up 7%

$mrvl - beat on both eps and rev - not massive but guidance was just in line - down 2%

$wday - beat - up 3% because guidance was up

$afrm - beat with super strong volumes - still lost money - but was up 5% on the report

$ulta - strong beat - was up 2% - same store sales were up 8% and they have raised their guidance - they did point out shrinkage

$gps - huge beat

$ulta had a great earnings and didn’t push up huge but $afrm activity was up 25% and they expect profits and was up 8% this morning
