Astrology forecast for January 19-25

With the Sun now in the sign of the water bearer, shakeups, surprises, outside the box thinking, innovations, working with new technologies, helping others, as well as a dose of rebelliousness are all in the forecast between now and February 18th. 

Chris and Almie discuss Aquarius Season and they also touch on the Sun-Pluto conjunction that could have us working with some very heavy themes this Tuesday, January 21st, but hopefully if we are dealing with some intense situations we’ll be able to handle them harmoniously. 

They also give listeners the heads up that Thursday, January 23rd could be an especially exuberant day, full of surprises and shakeups (hopefully good surprises!) as the planet Uranus will be heavily involved and will be disrupting, and hopefully also inspiring us.  

In “Ask a Scorpio,” Chris asks Almie what it feels like to not be sick, and also challenges her to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of famous Aquarians. 

Astrology forecast for January 5-11

Still nursing a cold, (Thanks Mars in retrograde!) Almie returns to this week’s episode as she and Chris talk about the outer planets that will be changing signs in 2025: Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. 

They also discuss the major astrological shifts taking place this week: Mars returning to Cancer, Mercury finally leaving the sign of Sagittarius, and perhaps the biggest shift- the North Node entering Pisces for the next 18 months. 

This week will most likely bring some changes with it: some of the changes will be welcome, others maybe not so much. Either way, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride!

Astrology forecast for December 28-January 3

With Almie nursing a cold, Chris takes the reins and reminds listeners that the planet Mars still has a long way to go in its retrograde cycle so we might be feeling a bit sluggish, things might not be happening as quickly as we’d like them to and there could be all kinds of issues pertaining to patience and anger. 

Chris also talks about Capricorn Season and he discusses the Capricorn New Moon, which will be exact at 2:27pm pacific time on Monday, December 30th. With all this Capricorn energy in the air we might be feeling ambitious and charged up to get organized and start off the new year with a bang (with or without the help of a retrograde Mars!) 

And Chris touches on Venus entering Pisces on Thursday, January 2nd. Venus loves being in the sign of Pisces- it’s said to be exalted there. On the flip side of Venus energy, Chris also talks about what we could expect from a very gritty, intense Mars-Pluto opposition that takes place on Friday, January 3rd.

Astrology forecast for December 2-8

There’s a lot of conflicting energy this week: some jubilant, some pessimistic. Here at Something About Astrology we encourage listeners to buckle up for the astrological roller coaster we’ll all be riding, and try not to let your highs get too high, and try not to let your lows get too low either.

Mars will turn retrograde on Friday, December 6th. The last time Mars was retrograde was October 31, 2022 through January 12, 2023. When Mars is retrograde, our actions might not be as coordinated. We might be a bit more irritable than normal.

Chris and Almie talk in depth about the Mars Retrograde, and how to best navigate it. They also talk about Neptune turning direct on Saturday, December 7th and how that could bring a revelation or two into your life. It might also give you an energy boost if you’ve been feeling a bit foggy since, oh… July of this year!

And they touch on how Jupiter and Saturn will be making their presence felt this week and they’re the two planets that will primarily be creating those highs and lows we’re talking about. It should be a memorable week, whatever happens, and hopefully a fun week as well.

Just take things slow if you can as the Mars retrograde is going to slow things down and one way or another make us more mindful of our actions.

Astrology forecast for November 24-30

Well, it might not really be all that “special,” but just in time for the holidays, Mercury will be turning retrograde on Monday, November 25th and will remain retrograde until December 15th. During the next few weeks we can expect the usual uptick in delays and communication snafus, but Mercury Retrograde is also a good time to review, reflect, and repair things and breathe new life into stalled projects. 

Chris and Almie also discuss the New Moon on Saturday, November 30th, which will take place in the sign of Sagittarius and will encourage us to broaden our horizons, take some risks, and maybe take a leap of faith (or at least a small step of faith.) 

They also talk about Mars slowing down as it prepares to turn retrograde on Friday, December 6th and they talk about the best way to navigate the upcoming Balsamic Moon that takes place over Thanksgiving.

Chris and Almie talk about the full moon in Taurus, which will be exact on Friday, November 15th in the sign of Taurus. This full moon could have us looking at our values and our self-worth. Saturn and Uranus will also be heavily involved in this full moon, which could lead to impulsive decisions, and sudden changes in fortune. 

They also talk about Venus entering Capricorn on Monday, November 11th, so the planet of beauty and love will be looking fondly on earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) for the next four weeks, and responsibility and accountability in relationships could be a point of emphasis. 

And they discuss the Sun-Uranus opposition on Saturday, November 16th that will continue the unpredictability set in motion by the full moon on the 15th. The end of this week could bring some real fireworks!

Astrology forecast for October 6-12

Chris and Almie talk about Pluto turning direct on Friday, October 11th. Pluto will be making its final push through Capricorn from October 11th through November 19th. When it enters Aquarius on November 19th, it will remain in Aquarius until 2043. With Pluto turning direct this week, we could experience themes dealing with power, transitions, death, and transformations. 

They predict a very spirited day on Tuesday, October 8th where our energy and optimism could be through the roof while the moon travels through upbeat Sagittarius. They also talk about Jupiter turning retrograde on Wednesday, October 9th and how the planet of growth and expansion will remain retrograde until February of 2025.

And they give listeners the heads up that events we’re currently experiencing this weekend while Mars is at 17 degrees of Cancer could come up again in February of 2025 when Mars will retrograde back to this exact point. So be mindful of your words and actions both today and in the coming days as these events could be reevaluated and/or re-experienced towards the end of February 2025.

Chris and Almie take a look at the charts of the presidential and vice presidential candidates to see which of them might be most impacted by this week’s Solar Eclipse. 

Since the eclipse is happening at 10 degrees Libra, they focus on which candidates have personal planets in the Cardinal signs (Libra, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn) at or around 10 degrees.

Chris and Almie talk about the upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse that will be exact at 11:49am pacific time on Wednesday, October 2nd. Chris speculates about whether this eclipse could bring another wrinkle to an already unpredictable presidential race, and which candidate might be most impacted.

They also talk about Black Moon Lilith being a part of this eclipse and how that could bring some additional intensity to things and perhaps lead to a secret or two being revealed. 

Because the eclipse is happening in the sign of Libra, we could see some changes/adjustments in our relationships, partnerships, and our style choices, and we could be looking for ways to bring additional balance and harmony into our lives. 

And they discuss the Mars-Saturn trine that’s exact Sunday, September 29th, the Sun-Mercury conjunction that could have us feeling especially communicative on Monday, and the other major water trine of the week, a Venus-Saturn trine that will be exact on Friday, October 4th.

Chris and Almie talk about Venus entering Scorpio, a sign where it’s technically in its detriment and isn’t particularly comfortable. Over the next few weeks we can expect some additional intensity around our relationships and perhaps a deeper love too.

They discuss the Sun entering Libra, which kicks off Fall. During Libra Season (Sept 22-Oct 22) think about what areas of your life where you could bring some additional beauty and elegance. It’s also a good time to work with others and breathe some new life into your wardrobe.

They talk about the Grand Trine this week between Mercury, Uranus and Pluto, which could bring some profound changes along with it. And they give listeners the heads up that Mercury will be entering Libra this Thursday, September 26th.
