Eclipses tend to speed things up, so we could see new people or situations either entering our lives, or quickly disappearing from them. 

Because the eclipse is happening in the sign of Pisces, this could be an especially emotional eclipse, and also an opportunity for healing and forgiveness.

Chris and Almie talk about Mercury reentering its home sign of Virgo. After an extended stay in Leo, with Mercury returning to Virgo on September 9th, we could very well start seeing forward movement on any projects or situations that might have stalled in recent weeks. 

They also discuss the Sun-Saturn opposition that we’re experiencing this weekend and how that can have us reevaluating things and getting serious about our present situation. We might find ourselves being overly critical of ourself or others, so remember to be nice to yourself!

They also discuss Uranus turning retrograde and how between now and January 30, 2025 we could see some shakeups in our lives, and we might find that we’ll be more prone to make changes or push boundaries in areas that could use some new energy. 

And they give listeners the heads up that the planet Mars, which rules our passions, our actions, war, aggression, and impulsive behavior, will be very active this week as it forms stressful aspects with Neptune and Pluto, and also enters the sign of Cancer, which is the sign of its fall. As with any Mercury Retrograde cycle, it’s best to give it at least a few days after the retrograde ends before making any big decisions or commitments, but by the end of this week, the roughest part of Mercury Retrograde will be behind us!

At the same time, it’s important to stay grounded as we are still in Mercury Retrograde, so our thoughts and impulses might be misdirected.

The full moon could have us focusing on family, our careers, and it could be especially powerful because Pluto, the planet of transformation, will also be involved.
