Brad is an industry professional of 18+ years, a cofounder of 5280 Flair, recent graduate of the BAR-5 program & also host of 3 Stars Podcast. We get deep on a controversial topic like "influencers and their ilk" as well as the show he, his girlfriend and best friend run together about just that, 3-star reviews!
30-minutes isn't a ton of time to get into everything in, so we'll be bringing him back for part 2 soon!
If you want to tune into his show, you can check it out here: http://3starspodcast.com/
Hanging out with Eileen-Ann Fisher, an agave spirits ambassador and Business Development Manager at Hotaling & Co. a company behind many brands and spirits you thoroughly know and love. Aside from traveling all over with a rich background, Eileen is the agave expert and represents some incredible brands. We're talking agave spirits and touching on leadership skills.
Enjoy
This episode was a blast to do! Stockade Tavern is one of our favorite bars to hit up in the Hudson Valley and Lauren brings in a very special set of skills to the table. Aside from having a super impressive resume working at some of the best bars on both the East and West Coasts we talk about the early cocktail renaissance, drinking mezcal, doing shots of Fernet Branca and what it takes to work at Stockade Tavern.
Come hang out and say "hello" to her at Stockade Tavern https://www.stockadetavern.com/
We had a blast doing this one. We visited Hudson House in West Park about 2 years ago before doors opened and sat down with Paul Seres and Charles Ferri to discuss their thought process behind opening a distillery, tasting room, restaurant and much more before and during a pandemic. While Charles couldn't make this episode we got a really exciting addition to this!
2 years later we're sitting down with Paul and now Kyran Tompkins, formerly of Captain Lawrence Brewing, to talk shop, brand awareness and much more.
Love this episode? Go say "hello" to Charles, Paul, Kyran and their incredible team and discover their spirits! There's a lot of cool things going down!
It's been a solid two (2) years since we did anything with this show! COVID-19 certainly did a number on us and precluded us from doing anything significant with this show because of the significant effort involved in recording, editing, etc. Although it's January 2023 and this year feels...different. Not different in the weird, mildly uncomfortable way that 2020 made everyone feel, but filled with hope.
The goal this year is to attempt to put out some content that is worth a damn to you guys which means we'll be looking to YOU, the listener to pitch us some topics to discuss on the show.

In this episode we'll be delving into the lives of Charles Ferri and Paul Seres the masterminds behind The Hudson House in West Park, NY. Taking on a massive project 6 years ago of converting the original Christian Brothers monastery into a distillery, bar, restaurant, wedding venue and much more. We're honored to have met them and think you'll love to hear their story too.
We're hanging with Stephen Aigner, the creative mind behind Roosevelt Bar in Beacon, NY. Delving into topics like workplace shenanigans, how to break into bartending & why we hate Bloody Mary's. Sticking to tradition, we're keeping this one light hearted.
Brett Kozinn of PM Spirits is joining me to talk about getting into the spirits side of hospitality, being a part of a smaller distributor in a large market and general geeking out over rum.
Our pilot episode is off to a strong start with Author, Spirits Educator and Consultant Shannon Mustipher to discuss how she got started in hospitality, favorite rums, and how to make the introduce non-rum drinkers to rum.
