A wise man knows he knows nothing, Sooo...WHY is it you think you have to know it all or stop learning in the first place? It seems as we get older, we lose interest in learning or trying new things but Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie are here to stoke the embers of your curiosity as we delve into the background of common idioms with Kenzie then Em plays a little game of: I Was Today Years Old When... it's an amusing conversation on the things we don't know and that's ok - it's actually encouraged because it keeps you fresh and willing to experience new things. For this week's Sooo...Lutions, Elle gives us 4 ways to maintain your curiosity and we wrap things up with Mel-J who reads a listener letter from someone who is also trying a new thing and needs a little help explaining it to her family and friends! Once you've listened to the episode, you will know we get stuck on 1 particular fact given at the beginning...and WE FOUND the proof so check the link below!

We want to apologize for being late, we are working hard on consistency and we appreciate your patience and ask for a little...LOVE get it, cause it's Valentines Day. In this week's episode Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie are talking all things LOVE, some Shrugs (cause one of us is single and a lil miserable this Valentine's - guess who?) and Valentines, what gifts we like to get and give and some really great ideas on how to celebrate tomorrow's big day while on lockdown. We have a really juicy listener letter so make sure you stick around until the end. This week's Sooo...Lutions are worked in as suggestions on how to celebrate so there won't be a visual. No matter how you choose to celebrate Valentines 2021 we hope you find some way to honour love and let us know how you decided to spend your day!

Thank you all for your patience as we adjusted our posting schedule. Remember our episodes will now be dropping every Thursday! We've missed you all and appreciate everyone that reached out to say...HEY, where is our show? Well, we are here and we have a a longer than usual episode so let's get to it...On this week's episode, Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie have an amusing discussion as we take a trip down memory lane, from the first time we had alcohol, to the first time getting fired to first kisses and more! Take this reminiscent stroll with us and as you do, your own memories of these situations may get refreshed and hopefully they are mostly positive, the reality is they may not all be, just like with us so make sure you stay until the end where our Sooo...Lutions are from an article titled: Heartbreak and Home Runs: The Power of First Experiences and offer helpful courses of actions to deal with negative memory patterns and remember that as amazing as some of all of our past experiences were, we all have substantial days are ahead!

Hey Sooo...Squad!
We have another insightful fun and informative discussion for you! Last week we talked about our Goals in 2021 and this week Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie are diving into what their strengths and their weaknesses are in an effort to find out more about themselves as individuals for the purpose of self-improvement. We take a scientifically sound personality survey which we will link below! We hope you take the test so you too can discover some insightful things about you! Change is hard and sometimes these test allow us to see things we can't see in ourselves and they can also shine a light on areas we may be neglecting. WARNING - sometimes finding out truths about yourself can be a little difficult so PLEASE excuse Kenzie as she tries to manage her emotions during this episode lol. Comment on our IG if you had a similar experience! Remember, don’t get discouraged or think these results are definitive, they are a tool towards discovery and not a completed picture so keep that in perspective! As always, our Sooo...Lutions are a great way to deal with the information you will receive after a test like this an focus on how understanding your strengths vs weaknesses can help you facilitate the change you need to meet your goals!

Hey Sooo…Squad!
Our first episode of the year is here and it’s all about GOALS in 2021. Many people are tired of making resolutions but isn’t a goal and a resolution the same thing? Whatever word you would like to use, the objective is the same, to better ourselves through planning and action Sooo…in this week’s episode we get right to it! You may notice the episode length is a tad bit shorter than our usual episode lengths and we did that by design, we wanted to get straight to it! In this week’s episode Sooo…Goals 2021 Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie discuss 3 things we each want to let go of this year and 3 things we each want to achieve. This week’s Sooo…Lutions are full of pragmatic tips on goal setting so please make sure you go to our IG page so you can get the video with the tips outlined clearly. We want this to be the beginning of a conversation that we can track throughout the year and we hope that you join us as we are a self-help, self-care and self-improvement show and we want to grow together as we have barrels of fun along the way!

Hey Sooo….Sqaud!
We have 2 damn days left of 2020 and although The Sooo…Podcast launched just this September, we still wanted to review some of our favourite moments from ur most popular episodes! Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie’s were all surprised by these clips of what we said sooo… don’t worry, it won’t get boring. We have a lot of hopes, dreams and goals riding on 2021 because many of us have gone through so much…but we made it, with our losses, hurts and all! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for joining us each and every week and as we enter into 2021 with all the unknown and uncertainty that it’s may bring, we do know for certain that we have HOPE and now we have each other! Sooo…relax, relate and release as we WRAP IT UP 2020!

It's our inaugural Christmas EPISODE! To say that this year has been difficult is an understatement BUT having you all support and listen to the show has been the best gift Em, Elle, Mel-J and Kenzie could have asked for! Sooo...Join Us and celebrate Christmas with US! We talk about different ways to make the Holiday's during quarantine possible, we offer gift ideas for all but most importantly, Em introduces us to a Gratitude game, and WE KNOW that sounds TOTALLY hokey BUT we want you to play along AND as one of our gifts to you, our regular Sooo...Lution video is our version of the game. We encourage you to play it this season with your friends and family because although we are all struggling, there is something to still be grateful for and this game will help you see that light! We also play a drinking game throughout the episode so GET YOUR GLASSES and Shake your AS....(Can you tell who writes the episode descriptions he he don't tell on me or they will fire me from this task - Sincerely Kenzie) So grab your drink and Imbibe with us! (PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND SAFETLY) OK! Drumroll please... our gift to you all is a Christmas playlist BUT before you kiss your teeth, please know we took our time to curate a really good mix of old and mostly new songs that goes from soulful to sexy to Litmas! Please find the link below. Make sure you check it out and play it when you need to get into the holiday spirit!
Finally stay until the end as we answer a listener letter from Gina who consistently gets bad gifts from her partner! DAMN Gina! Find out our Sooo.. Lutions for Gina!

Everybody and their MAMA has advice on how to get and keep a relationship. Advice is good but sometimes we miss the practical application on HOW to put that advice into action! During 2 different episodes, Elle, Em, Mel-J and Kenzie have stated one of the MOST important things you need in order to have a fulfilling long-term relationship is that you MUST be friends with your partner. WELL, on this week's episode we break down the how and give you some practicable advice using Love Languages!
