In the moment of difficult times or hard goals, it can feel very sticky. In that muddy moment, we try to negotiate and reevaluate the original goal based on how hard it is in the moment. But the thing I realized, pedaling on my Peloton bike, is that when you get through the hard part and you’re stacking on achievements, it doesn’t actually feel as hard as it was in the moment. I don’t want you to negotiate based on the hardness of a goal or obstacle. That’s why episode 140 of Becoming Iconic is about not negotiating your goals!
