Episode Summary: As we conclude the At His Table series, we return to one last sacred meal—this time on the shore of Galilee. In John 21, the risen Jesus meets His disciples with breakfast, not condemnation. In this tender, post-resurrection moment, we see that belonging doesn’t depend on success, perfection, or comparison. It begins with the One who prepares the table for us—even when we don’t recognize Him.

Prayer Practice: Through three movements—Miracles, Restoration, and Comparison—we reflect on what it means to live as women who truly belong at the table of Christ.

• Where do you feel like you’ve failed or fallen short—and how might Jesus be inviting you back to the table anyway?
• What “nets” have you been casting that aren’t bearing fruit?
• Where are you tempted to compare you journey with someone else’s?

• You are invited. Even now. Especially now.
• Whether you’re carrying disappointment, regret, or insecurity, Jesus meets you in love.
• Let yourself be nourished. The fire is warm, the bread is ready, and you belong.

Episode Summary

On resurrection morning, two disciples respond to the empty tomb—Peter runs and leaves confused, but Mary stays and becomes the first to encounter the risen Christ. In this episode, we explore John 20:1–18 through the lens of Peter’s uncertainty, Mary Magdalene’s devotion, and our own spiritual journey.

Jesus meets us where we are—but He also invites us to linger. Because sometimes, the ones who stay are the ones who are sent.

Mary didn’t speak a word. Her faith was in her actions—in the breaking open of the jar, the fragrance that filled the room, the love poured out at Jesus’ feet. In this episode, we reflect on John 12:1–11 through Imaginative Prayer, stepping into the scene from the perspective of those at the table, Mary herself, and our own. Her devotion was misunderstood by many, but honored by Jesus as a sacred preparation for what was to come.

This story invites us to consider what it means to live with purpose—to show up fully, love boldly, and give freely—even when others question our worth or our choices. At His table, purpose isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s found in quiet acts of love that leave a lasting impact.

In this tender moment from John 11, we find Jesus weeping with Mary and Martha before raising Lazarus from the dead. This story invites us to experience the compassion of Christ—not just in His power to restore, but in His presence amid our pain.

Using Imaginative Prayer, we reflect on this passage from three perspectives:

1. Martha—wrestling with faith and loss
2. Mary—bringing sorrow honestly to Jesus
3. You—present in the scene, witnessing the love of a Savior who weeps with us

This episode reminds us that Jesus is not only the resurrection and the life—He is also the One who stays, grieves, and loves deeply.
