Overview
In this episode of Sister Soul Care, we explore the story of Leah and Rachel from Genesis 29-30 and their struggle with the sin of comparison. Their rivalry, fueled by favoritism and unmet desires, led to pain, envy, and a loss of sisterly love. Yet, even in their brokenness, God worked through their lives to fulfill His divine purpose.
Through a prayer practice, I call Snapshot Reading, we’ll reflect on key moments in their story to confront our struggles with comparison and envy. Together, we’ll invite God to heal our hearts, remind us of His unwavering love, and refocus our attention on His blessings in our lives.

Closing Prayer
God, thank You for Your unwavering love and favor in our lives—whether we see it, feel it, or not. You are faithful, and Your plans for us are always good.
We ask for Your forgiveness for the times we’ve allowed the enemy to create a wedge between us and You, or a wall between us and others. Forgive us for the moments we’ve chosen the sin of comparison instead of trusting Your plan and pathway for our lives.
Please hold our hands and heal our hearts when envy takes root, when we feel unloved, or when rejection clouds our vision. Help us to rest in Your loving care and remember that Your love is constant, unchanging, and freely given. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for always welcoming us back into Your arms.
