The Sounders only needed two out of three matches against Houston to advance which means they've been sitting idle for over a week. However, both ECS Pub League and MLS provided entertaining matches this weekend... It was FUN WEEK for pub league; BBQ and booze, Cameron scored a PK, Aaron and Nicholaus both turned heads with their glamours, attention seeking birthday attire and the rest of MLS playoff contenders caught up. The semifinals are set!

The Sounders advance to the Western Conference Semifinals after securing their 12th straight penalty kick. Cristian Roldan directly contributed to both goals in match two vs Houston; he scored and then nearly immediately assisted Owen Gol.

• Hector ejected after he provides the weather, not the news, as his final Dynamo moment.
• What is the path to hosting the MLS Cup final.
• Comeback Player of the year; Which 3 Sounders have that badge?
• How many times have we NOT made the Western Semis?
• What positives and negatives have you observed against Houston?

Trick or treat? This match felt like both. The Sounders convert 5 straight penalties to get the 0-0 "win" in match 1 against Houston Dynamo but were unable to take advantage of being up a man after the Carrasquilla touched Rusnák's face. Next is away at Houston but will Jordan even be available?

• Van Cit wins away at home 5-0 of Portscum
• Is a Fall-Spring season tenable?
• Can Ruidíaz reinvigorate the #9 role?
• Is Minoungou a difference maker?
• Do the Sounders take care of business in wet Houston?

Well that was one of the more frustrating matches of the season and it wasn't (technically) a loss. The Seattle Sounders showed their usual prowess in possession vs Portland but they continue to have difficulty with the final blow. 16 shots, 6 on target and yet our single goal came from a set piece that found Yeimar's head (his first!). Rusnák provided the assist (not his first) while Jordan continues to struggle at being a #9.

• The playoff landscape
• What can MLS do to improve officiating?
• Free rides! Can we get them to the matches?
• Go shart yourself in Disneyland, Pekmic... love, Tim.
• An unforgiveable substitution gaff by Schmetzer
• Has CR7 solidified his need to be central?
• Can Nouhou just focus on defense?

The Seattle Sounders have been one of the hottest teams in MLS for weeks and that trend continued when they dominated the Vancouver Whitecaps thanks to a 3 goals to 1 exchange rate. Sounders then stay on the road and produced another clean sheet against the Colorado Rapids scoring 1 goal USD at altitude. Now, they aim to keep their momentum as they face the Portland Timbers in the final regular season match of 2025.

Aaron, Cameron & Nicholaus discuss:

• Miami's missing supporters group accepts the shield.
• Obed gets called up!
• Cameron is allergic to grass. Also, Pub League.
• The case of the missing Léo Chú.
• Sounders fans... why the long face STILL?
• Recap Whitecaps and Rapids wrap-up.
• Buzz saw the Timbers! NO EXCUSE.
