Sounders Scuttlebutt

Sounders win 1-0 over visiting Houston in a key match as the Sounders target at least the 3rd seed in the West. With these 3 points they leap frog over Houston to the 5th seed while also getting some distance from Vancouver in who drew PDX 1-1 and now sit in 7th & 9th respectively.

Aaron is on assignment but don't worry he still edited the show. Nicholaus Biela joins Cameron for this one which means more there is more than enough of quality Sounders content packed in. Aaron cut out as many pop culture references as he could and yet that still left this at 2 hours.

Have you ever wondered what it would look like if the Sounders dominated Pumas? No, not in the 2022 Champions League Final. Right now! In the Leagues Cup!

The boys also talk best Sounders under 22, who should be starting at LB, and more!!

We're off to a good start! Sounders score two and give away nothing to the Loons in the first of two group stage matches in this year's Leagues Cup. Rothrock sparks production in a very similar fashion with the help of Jordan Morris (see June 15) . Andrew Thomas also put on a very solid performance in goal. Aaron and Cameron cover

• Lewis Hamilton of course.
• Fan Fest at Longacres
• Annual Business Meeting but more importantly Cameron
• Season Ticket prices jump up.
• Clear MVP frontrunner [Rothrock] does it again.

The Seattle Sounders 8 match win streak gets pooped on just before the break by an LAFC 3-0 loss. It's hard to characterize who or what this team is at the moment. The path that this season is taking has been an unexpected and unrecognizable one.

It's been bad season

It's been a mad season

It's July, and as we all know, it is time to let the good times roll. Sounders have taken 13 points out of a possible 15 in MLS play and have advanced to the US Open Cup Semifinals for the first time in a decade. Can this run of form continue?

June has been a month of dramatic results testing our cardiovascular resolve... The Sounders end the month 3-1-1 with another come-from-behind performance against the Chicago Fire on Saturday, June 29th. They went down 1-0 in the first half (a half that possibly could have been our most lack luster of the season). However, they came out in the 2nd a totally different team and win 2-1 at home.

It's been 3 matches since our last show and since then the Sounders seem to be finding themselves. With multiple goals in each match and two comeback performances (both from down 2-0) the anger and/or apathy that this season has been causing is starting to dissipate. Are we we beginning to see a climb towards the Cup?

The ponderous season continues. The Sounders lose to the a team who WERE at the bottom of the Western Conference table. Next up are the Loons who currently are and consistently have been in the top 3 of the Western Conference.
