They say that there’s a lonely stretch of Nash road in Columbus Mississippi that is home to a sad and terrifying tale.First, she appears at the end of the road.A woman with a decaying leg crudely attached to her body. Then she charges the vehicle, banging loudly on the roof of the car. She  haunts the minds of young children and entices teenagers to test their bravery on what locals call Donkey Lady Bridge. The Donkey Lady is said to live in the woods around a bridge on the southside of San Antonio where She angrily  jumps on unsuspecting adventurers' cars and feverishly stomps her hooves on the roof if they park in her woods too long.

In 1816 a mysterious couple appeared in Alexandria, Virginia and quickly isolated themselves in a room at Gadsby’s Tavern without a word to anyone but the tavern innkeeper. Speculation on their identities continues to this day, fueled by the eerie inscription on the woman’s tombstone: “To the memory of the Female Stranger…”
