Literally, “Have they done an amniocentesis on you?” In Spanish, an indefinite “they” is commonly used to express passive actions, particularly when referring to medical procedures performed on a patient.

Have you had a test of the fluid surrounding the fetus?

¿Le han hecho un ultrasonido del feto?
Have you had a fetal ultrasound?
