Speak the Language Podcast

In turkey hunting, calling is undoubtedly the one thing hunters obsess over the most, especially mouth calling. Kevin Matthews and Troy Ruiz are two of the most talented individuals in the mouth calling world, in terms of building and using them. In this episode, Lake, Troy, and Kevin discuss the ins and outs of mouth calls, how to use them, make the most turkey-like sounds with them, and how to apply them to our times in the spring woods.

Bob Walker is among the elite few in the country when it comes to turkey hunting knowledge and experience. As a veteran guide at the legendary Bent Creek Lodge and a well-known face on Mossy Oak TV, Bob has the kind of incite that a turkey hunter at any stage in the game could benefit from.  Tune in as Lake, Jordan, and Bob sit down to talk some serious turkey hunting.

Jules McQueen is a well known face in the Outdoor industry, hosting and producing television, writing, and supporting several conservation organizations, including being an official spokesperson for the NWTF! Lake and Jules took time out of the busy NWTF Convention schedule to get together and talk turkey hunting, some of the work she’s been doing, and her interesting story of how she herself became a hunter.

Chasing hard gobbling turkeys is not far from being here! Lake, Jordan, and Troy sit down to go over several questions sent in from listeners and talk about the 2018 NWTF Convention!

In this podcast we go back to the roots of Primos Hunting, to the hunt and video that started it all. Lake sits down with Will to hear him reminisce on those times, as well as his thoughts on conservation, and how important it is to him to pass on that love for the outdoors to others.
