You and I have a responsibility. We know the way, the truth, and the life. We have been given grace upon grace. We have been loved and accepted and forgiven and set free. Anyone who has come face-to-face with God’s goodness and embraced it knows that we have a duty—even more, a privilege—to share this truth with others.
It’s easier to stay silent. It’s easier to aim for acceptance. It’s easier to hide in the shadows hoping that someone else, somewhere else, will be the one to speak the truth.
But if we really believe what we say we believe, then we have a duty as followers of Jesus Christ to speak the truth when it’s easier not to. Anything less than that is stark disbelief.
