So it’s the New Year…what do you want to do with it? Maybe you did great last year and want to continue on. Maybe you’re proud of what you’ve been doing but you want to do more. Or maybe you want to completely change things and start fresh. Whatever it is that you’re thinking about, it's important to make a decision on what you want to do with your 2023. It’s not possible to accomplish goals without a clear mindset and good, productive habits as our starting points. This is definitely easier said than done so we take it one step at a time, give ourselves grace, and learn to be okay with starting over and different multiple times if necessary. Fresh starts don’t have to be big steps and can start any day. They will be difficult and could feel overwhelming but at some point fresh starts will be worth it. Learn to take things one step at a time, one day at a time, one minute at a time.

Pain is something we all have to go through at some point in our lives. Either we are currently going through it or we’ve made it past the last storm and are finally in a good place with it. However, not all pain is so black and white. There is some pain that we will never forget and it will continue to haunt us and affect us for the rest of our lives. This is when we learn to have a relationship with pain. Learning to accept the pain is a part of our journey towards healing and growth. We may not learn to understand it but we can gain strength from surviving it and later on being able to talk about it.
