The Panthers had to pick it up after Sam Reinhart received a 5-minute major and a game misconduct after his knee-on-knee hit on Isac Lundestrom, with the home-and-home Reinhart will have to answer the call when the teams meet again on Tuesday. Panthers shut it down in the third period where eliminating the Ducks speed in the neutral zone resulted in an insurance goal by Anton Lundell. Jesper Boqvist struck again as he now has a career high in goals with 11. The two discuss the Ducks build and their mix of veterans with young blue liners, including former Panther Radko Gudas and how much his leadership has impacted them. They also give their thoughts on Frank Vatrano's new deal with the Ducks, and how that could help them going forward.
