Spiegel & Holmes Show

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by NBC Sports analyst Kendall Gill, who REALLY wants to fight Jake Paul -- but the social media star's publicity team is totally ghosting him. Why would a 53-year-old man want to fight a 24-year-old boy? Gill believes it would be "easy work."

Matt Spiegel declared himself a HERO after an incident at a family dinner this weekend. You be the judge.

In the third hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by NBC Sports analyst Kendall Gill, who REALLY wants to fight Jake Paul -- but the social media star's publicity team is totally ghosting him. Why would a 53-year-old man want to fight a 24-year-old boy? Gill believes it would be "easy work." Then, Spiegs declared himself a HERO after an incident at a family dinner this weekend. You be the judge. And who will call plays for the Bears in their tilt with the Vikings on Monday night? Whoever it is, it's probably not going to be great.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by former Bears defensive end Corey Wootton, who 11 years ago on this day sacked then-Viking quarterback Brett Favre on what would be the last hit Favre ever took in the NFL. Wootton reflected on that and previewed the Bears-Vikings game Monday night. He also explained why he believes Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald wouldn't take the Bears' job.

In the second hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by former Bears defensive end Corey Wootton, who 11 years ago on this day sacked then-Viking quarterback Brett Favre on what would be the last hit Favre ever took in the NFL. Wootton reflected on that and previewed the Bears-Vikings game Monday night. Also, there’s absolutely no consistency across the four major sports when it comes to COVID-19 protocols right now. Let’s see if Danny can differentiate between the real and fake ones. Then, we shared a true example of "teammateship" for the Chicago Bulls.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show by explaining how Parkins used the "power" of his microphone to get into the Lincoln Park ZooLights festival over the weekend. There were very strong "Do you know who I am?" vibes here today. I wish the lord would take me now. Also, Bears quarterback Justin Fields’ rookie season is being compared to those of Jimmy Clausen, Zach Wilson and Blaine Gabbert. Yikes!

In the second hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel turned their attention to the NFL, with Parkins breaking down his love for Los Angeles Chargers coach Brandon Staley. After that, we responded to the Bernstein & Rahimi Show's comments about us earlier in the day. Finally, we held our Parkins vs. Parkins vs. Spiegel vs. Spiegel segment.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show by discussing Parkins' debacle with ZooLights tickets. After that, they welcomed on Ryan Porth, 670 The Score's new assistant brand manager -- or is it assistant to the brand manager? -- who will be boss Mitch Rosen's right-hand man. The addition of Porth will relieve executive producer Shane Riordan of some of his workload, allowing him to bring even hotter takes to the afternoon show.
