Great news -- the show hit its ratings bonus last quarter. That's how good we are. Tradition dictates that the hosts kick some of that cash down to the producers. Matt Spiegel did. He's generous. But Danny Parkins went the "gift" route. Shane Riordan got a killer grill and Chris Tannehill got ... yikes. Just listen to it. Poor Tanney.

In the final hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel discussed how it's finally the day we're allowed to celebrate the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series. Spiegs has a phenomenal story about that night and how he wound up on the team plane. Then, we hit our bonus last quarter! That means the producers receive gifts and/or cash from our hosts. What did Danny do for the boys? Shane Riordan made out well, but how about Chris Tannehill? Yikes. Not so much for Tanney.

In the third hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel discussed how a White Sox beat writer ran into manager Tony La Russa at a random baseball game in Arizona. La Russa is talking, but general manager Rick Hahn hasn’t yet since the season ended. Is there a power struggle in the organization on the South Side? Then, CBS HQ host Danny Kanell joined the show to discuss Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields' development and his interesting connection to Bears coach Matt Nagy.
