Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show by chuckling at how a handful of Score teammates can't wrap their minds around Parkins rooting for the Bears to lose their first ... and second ... and third game so that rookie quarterback Justin Fields will start sooner.

Imagine leaving your public-facing job early to go to a Cubs game -- that's what Danny Parkins did in the final hour, leaving Matt Spiegel with Herb Lawrence and Shane Riordan to break down the White Sox's win Tuesday night. It was a lot of fun. Later, Parkins called in from Wrigley Field to talk to us about walking into the Cubs game. Wild, man.

In the third hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by Score midday host Dan Bernstein. You know him, he's of Boers & Bernstein fame and now he hopped on the superior afternoon show. Bernstein can’t give up his meatball Bears fandom and hates Parkins for not being able to do the same. Then, Hall of Famer and former St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk joined the show to preview the Bears-Rams game Sunday and to discuss whether Chicago rookie quarterback Justin Fields should be starting in Week 1.

In the second hour, Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel were joined by former White Sox infielder Gordon Beckham, who has done an incredible job filling in as an analyst on NBC Sports Chicago broadcasts for Steve Stone. Does Beckham remember when manager Ozzie Guillen went on an anti-college football tirade in 2009? We’ll see. Then, Jerry Seinfeld is back as a caller on WFAN in New York. The guy absolutely loves Mets infielder Javy Baez.

Danny Parkins and Matt Spiegel opened their show with a quick question: WHY IS DEREK JETER’S HALL OF FAME INDUCTION ON A WEDNESDAY AT 12:30 PM? Also, play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti made another mention of a 670 The Score personality on the White Sox's television broadcast Tuesday night. But still no mention of executive producer Shane Riordan.
