Episode 50 comes with tears, triumph, and a little laughter.  Ok a lot.  I met Laurice this year, thanks to our mutual friend Tracey, and fell in love with her wit, passion, and relentless pursuit to make the most of life.  I hope you're ready for a little fire under your hiney because she lit one under mine in this episode.

Laurice Duffy is a Life Coach with a passion for inspiring and empowering women. She focuses her intuitive skills on middle aged women by helping them explore their edges and face the fear of change, so they feel the fulfillment of rising fully into their extraordinary lives. Through a personal journey following the death of her husband and the father of their four teenage boys, Laurice has learned firsthand the importance of living in the moment and creating an ideal life. She believes all women can rise and live a beautiful life simply by choosing to do so.   Laurice is also a certified Passion workshop facilitator and has conducted several Vision Board and Self-Love workshops. Her Facebook group RISE, a group where women support and inspire each other, has more than 2300 members. Through this group, she hosts a weekly series "Aligned and Awakened" where she interviews women who have used personal adversity to find their power and lead a purposeful life through the power of choice. She also spreads inspiration through her Instagram, A Mindful Journey. Laurice is a speaker, podcast host and founder of the Kindness Matters Scholarship. Laurice has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Life Coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC).

Yep, I said it.  TRUST THE PROCESS!!!  I had a moment this week in my own journey; an epiphany, if you will.  I wanted to share with all of you my heart on this subject.  We so quickly want results or quick fixes, but trusting the process creates the mindset piece of the journey.  I don't believe God wants us to just go for the goal.  I believe He wants us to lean into the journey.  And that's where you find the sweet joy of results.

Tiffany Tutu, wrote her first children's book when she was a child herself. Her first editor, her mother, Della, instilled belief that she could be a children's author one day. The dream laid dormant until Tiffany became a mother. With the pen name of Tiffany Tutu, a nickname given to her by her kindergarten teacher, she was inspired by the small moments and memories she collected during quarantine with her son, Brigden, to write a book celebrating him and those moments.

She lives in the Midwest with her husband, three children, a cat that doesn't age, endless dinosaurs, countless baby dolls, and a few tutus, of course.  A common saying is that nothing in life is certain, but when it comes to Tiffany, one can be assured she has a glass of tea in hand, no socks on her feet, and a dream growing in her heart.
