As a little girl, Adi Shakti was drawn to humanitarian service. She was in and out of women’s rescue centers, working with the homeless, and visiting jails while in college studying social justice. Becoming a yoga teacher and going into indigenous communities to serve added layers to her understanding about social justice. Most of all, Adi became aware of the importance of putting ego aside to be of true service.
