Human mind constantly runs after this one word “Peace”. Everyone has a strong belief that one attains peace only after one is dead. That is why we hear ‘may the departed rest in peace, death is the peaceful sleep, I will be in peace when I am dead and so on, too often and from too many people. I always wonder why? Is death the only way to attain peace?  What is peace after all? 

Peace is defined as a state of tranquility and serenity, an undisturbed notion, a feeling of total stillness and ultimate silence. These are again the reactions of our physical self when experiencing Peace.

Purity is  associated with divine quality. Purity is defined as freedom from anything that debases, contaminates, pollutes, or is evil, negative or full of guilt. Purity is also referred to as  physical chastity or celibacy. Rajyog spirituality says purity begins through thoughts, then is mouthed through words and lastly comes in action...

 Knowledge is considered as the first quality of the human soul because without the knowledge of the subject there can be no learning. Education comes from the word 'Educe' which means to draw out, or extract, or invoke something hidden. Inwardly,  education means to teach self. Whereas, education which is given today is more induction meaning giving instructions outwardly, providing information based on the hypotheses of other people, further learning on that basis.

Years back when I was asked the same question  I answered that I am a woman, my name is Manisha, I do college counseling, I am also an author, a mother, and so on. Most  of us usually introduce ourselves the same way we first tell our gender, then name and then our profession- Right?  It is an autonomous reply, set in our minds. Is this I-my body which is mine, or family which is mine or job which is again mine or something else? For ages, spirituality in science has been a debatable issue. Mainly because science is the study of physical matter. Spirituality is the study of metaphysics, things which are beyond physical measures. Where science ends spirituality begins. Despite all the inventive measures, fancy gadgets, all the comforts to make living so accessible and all the progressions, yet science lacks the  knowledge about the soul and soul’s potential. Still there are unknown facts  about the inner core of human beings, which even science has not proven. Science has given comforts but yet has not given means to find true peace, happiness or love. Science has found new stars in the universe, new comets, new galaxies, and many deep secrets of the universe yet it could not find the deep secrets of the human mind or human soul. We have become a machine designing these machines and forgotten our spirits
