Spit Or Swallow podcast

Sally-Anne & Lou are back with another episode of SOS and as always , they are not alone.
Joining them for another evening of quaffing and chat is none other than the national treasure known as CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS!
It's no surprise to anyone that Biggins chose champagne as this week's beverage - and as it was recorded just before Christmas 2020, it added to the festive atmos - but what will the verdict be on the Lidl fizz our hosts sent to him? Will it be a spit or a swallow?
This episode is a delight, so pop a cork and immerse yourself in some delicious showbiz gossip from our esteemed guest;
What is Joan Collins' drink of choice? What was it like to party with Princess Diana? Does The Queen like dirty jokes? Have a listen and find out ...

Lou and Sally-Anne are here again and this week's guest journalist, Ayesha Hazarika is still in festive mode, opting for a tasting session with Bailys Irish Cream, which goes up-against a supermarket's own alternative ... but which one will 'cut the cream'.

Ayesha also elevates the show to a regal level, as her MBE status means she has some incredible stories about meeting Prince Charles (not a fan of the Labour Party it turns-out) and going hungry in Buckingham Palace.
She also spills the beans about the drinking culture and plethora of (subsidised) bars within Westminster - one of which proves you should never talk to 'Strangers' ... you'll have to listen to the episode to get that joke, but it's good...it works!

Joining Sally-Anne and Lou in today's episode is the fantastic comedian, SARAH MILLICAN! The ladies have a week-off from the vino, as Sarah herself no longer partakes in the devil's juice, so thought she'd take us on a nostalgia trip and test the various ways one can have a Vimto. Now, while Sarah's abstinence is indeed commendable, our hosts have no intention of joining her and so found various ways of turning this syrupy, soft drink into an adults only beverage - including the classic Cheeky Vimto. But is this a spit or a swallow ... there's only one way to find out...

Joining Sally-Anne and Lou for the inaugural Spit or Swallow is comedian, actor and writer NICK HELM! Nick's wine of choice is a fruity affair, which looks achievable for most budgets - but is it any good? Whilst the team swill their glasses, they reminisce about drunken nights of old, including one which gave Nick a scar as a souvenir and another where he really could be described as legless ....just don't offer him a Disaronno.

In today's episode comedian TOM ALLEN joins Lou and Sally-Anne for a spot of Rioja and a good old chin wag about those times he's over indulged in the grape juice and we learn that tiny food, such as tapas is not going to help in such circumstances. As you'd expect, Tom manages to bring a certain sophistication to proceedings, but don't worry, Sally-Anne and Lou manage to drag things back down again.
