These chapters are the ones in which the crew approach the Grey Island, and Naberius is lashed to the mast in a very Ulysses-style sort of way. He's already very much in thrall to the Heart, and can sense its presence on the island. Meanwhile, Jyrine is still getting messages and weapons from her allies, and they seem to be the ones who sent the Handmaiden, if I understand correctly...which sucks! I don't want her affiliated with people who see that monster as an ally!

This chapter is the one where Nita and Kit research the planet they're heading to, and begin their journey. I'm really unnerved by how incredibly peaceful this planet seems to be, and the portentous dream that Nita has puts me on edge. What the hell does it mean? And what's the deal with how infrequent travel is to this planet?

These are the episodes where the crew reaches Logue Town and we get to meet the amazing Captain Smoker, who has one of the most bizarre powers so far. He's the most likeable antagonist of all of them so far, unless you enjoy Buggy The Clown's ridiculousness more which I would completely understand.
The crew splits up to do their own separate things, and all Luffy cares about is getting to see the platform where Roger was executed. Meanwhile, Smoker thinks about what it was like to witness the execution.

These episodes are suuuuper fun. The Adventures Of Baby Buggy! I am so invested in this despite a lot of it probably not mattering that much at all in the grand scheme of things, and it made me like Buggy even more than I already kind of did. What a fucking weirdo. The main events, of course are Buggy getting the rest of his body back and teaming up with a mysterious, beautiful woman.

At the same time, Kits parents are in talks with Tom behind Kit's back, and while Kit feels intense envy for about five seconds, it turns out that he's coming too!
But...is this destination as chill as it seems?

These chapters are where we get another full scene that played out in Of Shadow And Sea from Calder's perspective, and it's really interesting to see how much less organized the whole recovery attempt is than I expected. Calder is only enlightened on the actual objective at the last moment, and is not feeling too great about Naberius getting it, as it turns out.

We knew this was coming, but I wasn't totally sure how it would go due to the people being killed apparently for their various body parts, because he also seemed to be possessing that dude? Well turns out, he needs BOTH! As well as one last ingredient...Genevieve's blood.
He does not get it.

The scene in the kitchen where she's talking out loud to Bellemere about her choice, and she's a little hesitant, but then receives a shove in the back from....SOMEONE! It was actually really moving and I loved it and it made me cry a tiny bit.
