These final chapters are the ones in which Lindon and Mercy face off with Malice, and finally have a chance to tell Mercy the truth. Meanwhile, in the heavens the Mad King is planning his attack on Ozriel and Suriel, and Makiel is looking on with that kind of self-satisfied regret that I cannot stand because it's him acting like something is a "neccessity" when really what he means is that it's personally convenient.

These chapters are the ones in which Malice seems to have convinced Mercy that Lindon has gotten so ambitious that he's willing to risk people's lives (basically accusing him of exactly the crime SHE'S guilty of), and Lindon & Yerin go off to rob a bunch of monarchs. This is all so so good.

We're still here in Water 7 and the crew is all up to their own stuff. Zorro is guarding* the ship, Sanji is collecting ingredients for dinner, Chopper is still looking for Robin (who herself is doing something we still don't know about), and Luffy, Nami, and Usopp are trading in their gold and hiring someone to repair the Going Merry.
Although it's starting to look like maybe repairing the ship isn't possible after all.

In these chapters we finally get to see Shera's attempt at assassinating Calder, and also find out a little more of Foster's history, which is truly harrowing and extremely difficult to read. There's also a delightful exchange between Andel and a shopkeeper, and I'm very interested in seeing what Andel goes on to do with this object.
