The voice of the Indianapolis Colts right here on the radio, Matt Taylor, joins Brett here on The Sports Rush in Hour 1 today! We brought on Matt to talk about a very exciting overtime win for the Indianapolis Colts against the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend that saw the team improve to 2-1 on the season and currently sitting on top of the AFC South. We hear from Matt about a lot of the guys that stood out in Sunday’s performance against Baltimore, including a standout performance from the kicker that was brought in in free agency that won the game, Matt Gay! We get Matt’s opinion on how valuable a good kicker is in the league in this day and age, and how difficult it is to truly find a “franchise kicker.” Brett also makes sure that he and Matt discuss the performance of running back Zack Moss who has done a great job running the ball in the absence of Jonathan Taylor. In addition to Zack, we hear about a lot of the other players on the team that did a fantastic job on Sunday in the win. Brett also gets Matt’s thoughts on Gardner Minshew and his job as a backup behind Anthony Richardson. Also in the hour, Brett talks about college basketball practice getting underway, including with the Dons at Purdue Fort Wayne! And, the ice is now down at ACWMC for the Komets!!
