The guys are back for another episode, leading closer and closer to the opener of the fall hunting seasons. This week the guys recap their past week at home and in the field. Paul is finishing up some… extended projects, while Andrew is fine tuning some set ups for the fall season.
The meat and potatoes comes from a 2 part episode. Andrew talks with Craig from Hero To the line to discuss the program he has created. Hero to the Line is an organization that helps veterans adopt Labrador puppies to become working dogs, and best friends. They will be hosting an event in Bucyrus on August 26. Visit Hero2theline.org for more information.
The other part of the show comes from our friend Mitch Shirk, aka the Pennsylvania Woodsman, aka Johnny Appleseed. Mitch is a trained agronomist, and works day in and day out with farmers in the Keystone State. He is on with the guys talking about fall food plots and some of the ins and outs of what you should be considering in order to bring in the big deer.
Have a great week and enjoy the O2 if you get out into Ohio’s great Outdoors!

The time has come! The tags are bought, the dates are set, and it's time to figure out what on earth the goals for the 2023 "year of the whitetail" are going to be. This week on the Oklahoma Outdoors Podcast, it's time for John to set the calendar for his 2023 hunting season. John has buck tags in Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska, and Texas that are burning a hole in his pocket. This could truly be the season of a lifetime, or a set up for the biggest heartbreak on earth. So tune in to see when John plans to be where, and what he expects to accomplish at all of his destinations.
It is going to be a busy fall for John. Nebraska velvet bucks, prime Iowa rut hunts, west Texas brush country, and good ol Oklahoma ranch land are all on the docket for 2023. Trying to fit all these states into a single hunting season is the issue. On top of a family and a full time job, John has his work cut out for him. He's not afraid of the challenge however, and is even trying to find a way to throw a south east Oklahoma bear hunt in the mix as well!

In this week’s [UNCENSORED] podcast by GoWild, we talk all about survival in the outdoors, specifically about History Channels’ Alone. We talk about what mistakes we believe the contestants make and how long we think we could make it alone outdoors. How long do you think you could make it? Two weeks, four weeks, or months? We speak on our ideas to structure the show better, especially with more highlights on what items the contestants take.
Brayden spends some time talking about a recent camping trip, which was a muddy mess! The fishing was a little to be desired but the trip definitely turned out good for scouting. Brayden learned some lessons while trying to fish the currents in Driftwood River, when all along there was an oasis right around the corner!
Brayden & Dan talk about their favorite parts of Driftwood rIver, from the landscape, the fishing, and to the ends and outs of what they learned from the river. Brayden had an almost scary experience but managed to recover before things got too hairy. Dan covers some of his favorite gear to have while fishing, even if some of his modifications are questionable! We plan out our next fishing trip coming up this week, hopefully Dan gets his alarm figured out before then!
