Soldiers duck and dodge during a 5 on 5 dodgeball tournament at the Carey Fitness Center. The competition includes a prize for best themed team name and uniform. Army Private First Class Robert Ferguson from 1st Battalion 38th Field Artillery says he and his team went to the Post Exchange and found some Angry Bird costumes and thought, “why not?” This unique idea added a little more fun to the tournament.

Air defenders from across the peninsula came to Osan Air Base for the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade Dragons annual Turkey Bowl. Three-time Super Bowl Champion Riki Ellison, former linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, was on hand to congratulate the winners at the end of the tournament.

The exercise provides a unique environment for fire training that firefighters can use to hone critical skills and train for any successful operation.

Airmen posing as aggressors infiltrate Kunsan Air Base during the operational readiness exercise, Beverly Midnight. They attempted to defeat base defenders and take over a communications site. Members of the 8th Security Forces Squadron quickly defeated the aggressors, showcasing their ability to defend the base.

Approximately 40, 210th Fires Brigade Soldiers went through a week long combat lifesavers training at the Camp Hovey Education Center. After passing a 40 question written exam and a hands on test, these Soldiers are certified in first aid and are better prepared to help medics on the battlefield during a combat situation.
