We overcome temptation by realizing it is built on deception when we know... “The Source of Temptation”

Today, we are going to talk about how Christians have a radically different view of suffering –we embrace the difficulty, don’t reject it. We believe that difficulty has a purpose, trials have a purpose.

The reason we are starting here as we kick off this new series, is that is exactly what happened to James, the half-brother of Jesus. James came to know his Jesus as Christ, and He was “Never the Same”

Walking a life fully devoted to Christ means sacrifice and persecution. The pain on earth may seem to outweigh the gain (see John 16:33), but our ultimate “Gain” awaits us in Heaven, in eternal Glory.

With today being Christmas Eve, I want to spend our time together talking through what it means for Jesus Christ to have the name Emmanuel, God With Us.
