No: Solen skinte over Vigelandsparken.
En: The sun shone over Vigelandsparken.

No: Våren hadde kommet for fullt til Oslo.
En: Spring had fully arrived in Oslo.

No: Blomster spirte opp mellom de grønne gressgangene, og familier nøt fridagene i påsken.
En: Flowers sprang up between the green grass paths, and families enjoyed the Easter holidays.

No: Siv satt på en benk og så på folkemengden som ruslet forbi.
En: Siv sat on a bench watching the crowd stroll by.

No: Hun var journalist og trengte inspirasjon til en ny artikkel.
En: She was a journalist and needed inspiration for a new article.

No: Hodet hennes var tomt, til tross for livets aktivitet rundt henne.
En: Her mind was blank despite the vibrant activity around her.

No: På en annen benk, ikke langt unna, satt Lars.
En: On another bench, not far away, sat Lars.

No: Han var kunstner.
En: He was an artist.

No: Med blyanten i hånden studerte han skulpturene foran seg.
