One day you walk into work, and “boom” the manager comes in and delivers the news “we appreciate your efforts to this company, but unfortunately, we’re going to have to send you home.”
Wow! Definitely unexpected, but as the story unfolds, we explore all the good that can come out of a forced career change, and how one can make it through a hit like this and come out on the other side feeling positive about it!
As we get into the story, we Identify and agree that goofing off a little and focusing on ones self in these types of situations is good, but only for a short time. You’ve got to get right back to cultivating and executing a new plan, that will take you into the next phase feeling in control of things. There is actually so much good that can come out of this type of experience, if you’ll only keep your head up, eyes forward and look for it.
Lastly, we have a good laugh centered around a couple of in-house produced meme’s, so I hope you enjoy this little funny moment.
In this episode, it’s all about the “Results of Motivation.” After we came off Episode #010 - Health and Wellness, discussing my personal fitness goals and other areas of interest, there was a lot of motivation flowing and the results are in!
Aside from a bombshell being dropped in the first 30 seconds, we cover a lot of ground, starting with a quick recap of the last few sessions and quickly moving into how results were achieved and what that looked like from many different angles.
I’m so excited and motivated to continue bringing you these podcast sessions and thank you so much for following along and listening!
Are you interested in obtaining a better health and wellness regimen? Inside this episode we celebrate a few “wins” for our host and continue the conversation about how our previous discussion revolving around motivation paid immediate dividends for him. Another cool factor of this episode is a quick outline of our time in Austin, TX at an event hosted by Onnit, with special guests Aubrey Marcus, IN-Q and Gary Vee! Enjoy listening as I announce that I’m launching my 1st ever “Sr. Verde Slim Down”. This includes what I’m eating, how I plan and a little history of how I’ve done the up and down weight thing, with longevity, aging and biomechanics at the core of my strategy. I hope you gain a little more insight into how I execute on things, especially when it comes to my overall health.
This is the 2nd part of the 007 Special Episode hope you enjoy!
Well, here we are, finally to the seventh episode of my @everythingthatIknow podcast, and since the number is so special “007”, we thought we’d have a little fun with a James Bond themed experience...complete with afternoon martinis! We honestly have no real topic or agenda, as you can see from the minute markers below, but nevertheless, the conversation is on point and beneficial. We did ramble on and on about a few topics so long, that we’re actually going to have to chop this up into a Part 1 and Part 2, as well as a few outtakes, soon to come! I truly hope that you’re challenged and encouraged by each piece of this most recent conversation. Be sure to comment and share so these conversations can be continued and provide the most value to you and the rest of our community.
Mentors. Are you looking for one? Are you thinking about being one to someone else? It’s not as hard as you might think to get involved in this type of personal growth. In this episode I’m happy to outline some simple strategies on how to find, and or be a mentor.
It’s really not that big of a deal to find one. “Look for that person that is the closest version of your future self.” -Sr. Verde
Ask them if they’re interested in meeting with you, to discuss the specifics of how they have excelled, at whatever it is that seems to be aligned with your vision.
Wow, what a concept. “The number one mistake people make in life, let alone business, is that they answer no for the other party, without asking the question.” -Gary V.
If this is you, and you’re looking for the ideal mentor, just ASK! If you’re an individual who wants to mentor someone you see potential in, just ASK!
I want nothing more than the best life for you and everyone who’s listening and watching these simple truths that I’m putting out there! I appreciate your time and attention more than you know.

S.E. Greene (a.k.a. SrVerde) in short, is a carpenter who figured out how to borrow money, run a business, and deliver on the goods and services he said he could! After many years of scratching around in the real estate industry, “hacking” and figuring out what suited him, and or what best fit the market, he now currently runs a successful multi-million dollar real estate development company, and serves as CEO at eighty8 realty, a comprehensive model real estate firm based in Texas.
In addition to his real estate background and successes, SrVerde enjoys playing guitar, wearing (and often giving away) exotic cowboy boots, exploring the culture of wine and winemaking, mentoring other small business up-starts and business owners, chasing his dreams and dragging as many people to the top of their game as he possibly can!
As he shifts his focus and dives into the realm of public speaking, he would be delighted to share with you or your organization first hand of how he got from point A to point B, and navigated the last 20 years of business ownership and operations. Please send your inquiries to: [email protected]

And lastly, if you’ve read this far, then I owe you a great deal of gratitude. I believe the smallest details in life are sometimes where the greatest truths are found. Having said that, I give you the opportunity to connect with us, state that you read this final thought, and ask a question that would bring you the most value. My team will do their best to reconnect with you and set up a one-on-one phone call that might end up on this very podcast! Go. Do. Be you! -Sr. Verde
Ok guys, this one is a tad bit longer than normal, but please stay with it! We talk about DEBT…the #1 killer to the growth and health of your endeavors.
As the questions start to flow, I begin talking about how you can pay off credit card debt, to ultimately make those large ticket item purchases we all have to have. You’ll hear my thoughts on emergency fund strength, doing the little things to make real measurable progress and college debt.
I go pretty deep into outlining what a budget can and should look like. How to defer your gratification, and or build-in all of those vices that we all seem to have, and need. I want you to see that it doesn’t have to be a scary thing, but instead, it’s a living document we can all be happy with once we experience the freedom inside the structure of implementing one for our finances.
Listen closely as I give you a sneak peek into my debt free “origin story” and how, even though I’m not 100% there yet, this mindset is at the forefront of every decision that I make, both personally and in business.
Last thing, Mr. Whitley agrees to a challenge…this is gonna be good! You’ll get to follow along over the next several months (or however long it takes) as he embarks on his journey to pay off debt and finally be FREE from its chains!
It doesn’t matter where you are along the path of life's journey. When it comes to dealing with debt, there's something in this episode for everyone!
