This week we’ll be studying 2 Peter 3:10-18 under the theme “Don’t Drift. Finish Strong.” This world won’t last, and drifting is always a danger, but Jesus holds us securely and grows us in grace so we can finish strong.
Series Summary: In a confusing and compromised world, you don't drift into faithfulness — you fight for it. The apostle Peter knew that believers are constantly tempted to forget what they know, become distracted by false ideas, and grow spiritually dull. Yet God has given us everything we need to stand firm in Christ. In this series, "Stay Sharp," we'll rediscover the truth that strengthens our faith, exposes deception, renews our hope, and keeps us watchful until the day Jesus returns.

This week, we’ll be studying 2 Peter 1:12-21 under the theme “Don’t Forget What You Know.” We tend to think spiritual growth means learning something new, but Peter reminds us that God often preserves and strengthens faith by bringing us back to the truths we already know—the reliable Word that keeps Christ before us.

When the world around us seems to be getting more and more godless, we may wonder how we can stand on our biblical principles, much less let our Jesus-light shine in an obvious way. Do we have what it takes to grow in our discipleship when we feel so weak? Through Peter, in his Second Epistle, God says, "Yes, because I've already given you everything you need!"

This week, we will be studying 1 Peter 2:13-25 under the theme “What If They’re Wrong…but Still In Charge?” It’s hard enough to respect authority when leaders are wise and fair. But what about when they aren’t? Peter speaks to that tension honestly and points us to Jesus, who suffered injustice without retaliation, bore our sins in his body, and frees us to keep doing good when doing good feels unfair.
