STABcast

This week the STABcast look at all the news from Ministravaganza, and Ryan fights all of Florida with Dirty Trash Can and his space llamas boys.

100 episodes!  (Well, 100 official episodes, 6 bonus episodes, a couple of small announcements, but 100!)

We couldn't have done it with out your support, dear listeners. So what do we have up for this episode? Battle reports, a discussion of battle forces, a salty Will, a debate about Aunt BEHru or Aunt BEru, the speed of Internet Explorer, all the unfiltered ums and SOOOOOO much more.

Once again, we thank you dear listeners, and here is to 100 more.

This week we take some summer time fun and offer you another commentary episode!

We are watching Star Wars Clone Wars 2D Micro-series, Volume 1, from 2003. Like normal, Ben haven't seen this film before, as he is a man made to Trek, not War. We are watching on Disney+, so join us by going to Disney+, clicking on Star Wars, scrolling down to the bottom to Star Wars Vintage, and then Clone Wars 2D Micro-Series.

We start the commentary at the 8 minute mark of the podcast, but we had a TON of fun here. Be on the look out for our commentary of Volume 2 later this summer. So, sit back, relax and join the STABcast as we explore the thirst trap that is Kit Fisto, youthful awakening with Asajj Ventress and Dirge, and all the cool CIS toys we want to see added to the game.

Ryan, Ben, and Will have a lot of fun dissecting Tim and Will's recent play with updated Bounty Hunters and Ryan's adventures in the Garden State with Al Paz and our friends at Legion 99. We talk about the game play, the casinos, and all the news you could want.

Musical intro is Nathaniel Radcliffe and the Night Sweats's cover of Springsteen's Atlantic City. Additional music interludes come from one of the great Canadians, Alanis Morrissette. I am sorry, We are Legion. I couldn't find a Kylie Minogue or Hugh Jackman cover.

We have to give a special shout out to Keegan at Legion 99 for our intro. They are good people up there, despite what I may say in the blooper reel. Come for the laughter, stay for the love... on this week's episode of the STABcast.

This week we talk all about the Rocky Top Game Con Legion event. We had so much fun with such great players, and we talk all about it. Sit back and listen to adventures in Republic woes, beautiful tables, Ryan's gnashing of teeth as we talk about Gar Saxon, and the misadventures of Will's cat, Daisy.

All that and so much more on this week's episode of the STABcast.

Some links to great photos taken by Mark Wally who painted our prize minis and photographed a ton of tables for us.

Part 3

This week Ryan is out due to work, so Ben, Will, and Tim talk about the local tournament they played in. We talk about re-evaluating our battle decks, the glorious mountaintops and disastrous  valleys of our wins and losses, and then we talk about the NEWS!  A Maul reveal, Vigo and Capos, and some great upgrade cards.

The Three Amigos have spent nearly 17 hours together over the space of 24 hours, so we are pretty relaxed and loose. Sit back and enjoy the ride, dear listeners as we have some fun on this episode of the STABcast.

Ryan, Will and Tim sit down and rant about the new toys coming to the collecting shadows, and Tim makes some bad hot takes on secret mission.

Welcome back dear listeners to another episode of the STABcast. We talk about battle reports, the Delending of Clones and how to bring them back, hobbying and table talk, and so much more. We know you love or hate our MCP talk, so we are expanding into Marvel Champions talk briefly! (I kid, I kid!).

Come for the laughs, stay for the morsels of insight, but whatever you do, don't miss this week's episode of the STABcast.

Dear listeners, it has been three years for Ben, and two years for Ryan and Will. But we went to Adepticon and it was glorious.

Strap in for a wild, long ride, or take it in batches. Listen to us for a bit, then go do something else, then come back to us. Most podcast players will let you break it up. But we have a Jumbo XXL episode here.

We talk Adepticon and we TALK. IT. ALL. The sweet victories and the stunning defeats. The crushing of our enemies and the lamentations of our snails,  It is all of Adepticon for Will, Ben, and Ryan, as gently guided by Tim.

As always, thanks for listening to this week's episode of THE STABcast.

LJ "Talk Polite" Pena has joined us on this episode to talk about putting Ryan down like the dirty rebel dog he is, guide Ben, Will, and Ryan in Adepticon list creation, and wades into the fray of Ben and Will's Marvel Crisis Protocol game Don't worry, the MCP talk is done by the 10 minute mark.

We talk about the news around the Shadow Collective and gaze in awe at the awesomeness that is Gary and Larry the Snail Tanks!  Come for fun, stay for the discussion of strategy, and listen to us on your way to Adepticon!
