STABcast

It's a three man episode this week as Ryan recounts his misadventures in sunny Southern California, where he was hoisted by his own x34s, he founded a religious movement, and was put down by Al Paz, friend of the podcast. Then, Will, Ryan, and I discuss the many and myriad changes to Legion with the release of the new Errata, RRG, and points document. For faithful listeners, there are two secret messages buried in this episode. You gotta listen to find out!

Come for the laughs, stay for the slashing cuts to the collective ego when you check out this episode of the STABcast.

Welcome back to this episode of the STABcast! This week we discuss the rock hard virility of Christopher Lee upon his passing, teach Tim how to play his Droid army, and discuss all the mistakes Ryan might make at the San Diego Southern California.  Open. Will comes back to be informed of the potential destruction of his Clone Throne. Ben perhaps says Clones Delenda Est.

We also realized that often the STABcast will post an episode THEN news drops, so as an attempt to draw forth the RRG, we offer the Luminous Legion Beings our podcast to grease the wheels that must turn.  All this and more on the STABcast!

Join the boys as we talk battle reports from the Invader League and break down what is actually getting played. We celebrate the coming New Orleans Open, so the opening is from the New Orleans Swamp Donkeys (seriously, someone started a band and named it what we call Ryan often). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_hpW5cDLJA&t=5s

Come for the laughter, stay for the stories, and may all your dreams be of STABcast!

STABcast explores the Ministravaganza by AMG this past weekend. We explore Renaissance Faires, MCP (briefly), a bit of Xwing, a ton of Legion news, and some Organized Play details. I even offer a challenge for painters of the Persuader Droid tank!

Come for the conversation about Ben's tender dark meats, how much clothing Will traditional wears while recording, Tim's true age and origin, and Ryan's hot beignet takes on the coming changes to Star Wars Legion!

Shout out to Samuel Kim Music. I used https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnOEGvEKFSQ for this episode, but you can check out his music: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuoKuTCQ9dmPIgOgyLm9HgQ

Snail tanks, Spider droids, and Super Tacs, OH MY!

Due to Ryan's inability to master his technology (and the remnant storm winds of Ida cutting his power off), this episode features Will and Ben discussing the newly spoiled CIS releases. We could have cancelled this episode, but we had already recorded the audio tracks, so this is a beautiful "Dinner with Andre" style episode with all the deep philosophical musings you have come to expect from Prequel players.

Next week we will discuss our FANTASTIC tournament, the bevy of friends who came out, and the fun we all had.

STABcast tackles the current state of Legion, attempt to dissuade the panicked citizens of internet Legion, and much more. Come for the masterful transitions between topics, but stay for all the love Owen Lars, AMG, and your own step dad couldn't give you despite his best efforts.

Listen to stories of our heroes' journey to a land shrouded in haze and heat... Will, Tim, and Ben head to Allen, Texas to play some Legion, eat some barbecue, and play some more Legion. We talk about the best and worst of our weekends. This jumbo packed episode has all the stories and as much news as we could find off the back of a German transport truck. Thanks for listening to the STABcast.

Tim, Ben, and Ryan take a look at more new cards, discuss how Tim has become Mrs. Nesbitt (youtube link for those in need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5m33zK6ZlA), and tear down Ben's list and build it back up again for Lone Star Open. Come for the hot takes from Ryan on a faction he doesn't played, stay for the sounds Tim makes when he scoops a game, and relax with the chuckles of Ben when he makes Tim scoop. All this and more on this week's STABcast.

In what must be Australian Christmas (It is in July and is likely trying to kill you), STABcast experiences all the joy and madness Wookie Warriors and Chieftains, and Grand Master Yoda can bring us in this summer heat. Speaking of summer miracles in this Southern swelter, Ben managed to play a game when no one else has. The boys get loose, but our hot takes have never been hotter in this episode of the STABcast.

Ben, Will, and Tim talk to Mike Barry from ... another podcast (Notorious Scoundrels and 5th Trooper Networks) about StormTide, a narrative Legion campaign launching very soon. Listen as we ask the hard hitting questions and embarrass Tim in front of his cool Legion friends. The system and plans sound really interesting. So, join the 3 Wise Guys of the STABcast and get a nice conversation about StormTide.

Like other very special episodes, these stand outside our normal scheduled podcasts. Check out Episode 75, which just released today!
