Last week, an expelled student known for erratic behavior and run-ins with police returned to his former High School in Florida and murdered 17 people. Predictably, the liberal media's primary message and solution is "more gun control"---a simplistic response to a complex crisis. Rather than looking deeper at the spiritual, it is made a political, Democrat vs Republican issue, which I believe is irresponsible.

Instead of taking the time to understand the underlying causes for these tragedies, liberals continue to blame guns--inanimate objects that only do what the person holding them makes them do. Why does the left spout this continuing response to violence? Because the only alternative is to acknowledge that sinful man can be evil---a direct contradiction to their liberal and often atheist beliefs.

So what can be done? Dr. Randy White joins us to discuss public education issues as well as some possible solutions. Then we'll tackle the latest fad hitting higher education in our nation: White privilege.

In our final segment today we look at comments by Joy Behar of The View who suggested Vice President Pence might be mentally ill because he speaks to God through prayer and says that God often speaks back to him. Is this where our nation is headed? People who believe in God and seek Him in prayer brandished as mentally ill? Well in reality God's Word in Romans 1 says those that reject the truth of God are the ones whose actions become deranged and sick. And a careful observation of those on the far left once again confirm the truth of God's Word.

As the federal government grows larger and more intrusive by the day more and more people are wondering where our nation is headed. And theories about a "shadow government" behind the scenes that is manipulating policy and leaders toward a one world government have moved from a conspiracy theory of the paranoid to mainstream thought as government invades every sector of our lives.

And yesterday a mentally sick and evil person walked into his former school that had expelled him and opened fire on students and faculty killing at least seventeen people. There have already been calls for expanded government control of guns and schools in reaction to this tragedy.

True Christians and students of God's Word knows there is indeed a conspiracy to bring all people under the umbrella of a one world government because God's Word tells us it will happen. But while the deluded left believes this will help mankind we know the leader of this united world is anything but benevolent...in fact he is a puppet of Satan himself.

Pastor Carl Gallups is a student of biblical prophecy and has written best-selling books on the subject. He has also studied events in our nation and the growth of government deception and oppression.

Millions of people celebrate Valentine's Day today and the influences of this world have men and women spending billions of dollars on flowers, chocolate, romantic dinners and getaways. And the man-made vision of a fat little cherub firing arrows at people inducing love seems to reinforce a faulty belief: that love is something that happens to us without a choice, like a chemical reaction or a feeling we just cannot fight.

Today we focus on the gospel that is often presented in churches these days. Is it the one, true gospel and consistent with God's Word? Or a dangerous path away from God?

With so many subtle ways the enemy of our souls can trick and deceive us, one of the most powerful is taking something that sounds good and twisting it ever so slightly to make it appear biblical. There is an interesting dichotomy when we look at how two major religions--Christianity and Islam--are increasingly perceived and treated in our nation.

Biblical Christianity calls on us to love all people, even those who are directly opposed to and violate God's Word. Islam calls for punishment and even death to classes of people such as homosexuals or those who call themselves "transgender".

Biblical Christianity teaches that men should honor and cherish their wives; Islam teaches that wives are more like property than cherished partners. They can be beaten or divorced on a whim.

So which of these religions should be the one feared by women and homosexuals? Islam. Yet it continues to get a pass with feminists, the radical homosexual movement and the media, while Christianity is framed as a religion of hate and bigotry. Which religion is being kicked out of schools and shouted down in public? Christianity, while Islam is promoted celebrated in public schools and feminist circles.

Elijah Abraham, a former Muslim and now Evangelist and apologist for biblical Christianity joins us this morning to discuss this contradiction from reality.

Today we look at an important controversy within a Christian denomination. This is a legitimate controversy over an important doctrine: predestination. Does God predestine certain people for heaven or hell? Doesn't man have a choice to confess, repent and submit to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Southern Baptists are grappling with this crucial question as New Reformed Calvinism makes an impact on many members of the denomination.

In our first segment, we check in with Tina Marie Griffin, the Counter Culture Mom to discuss dangers to our children in television, movies, music and video games. Topics today include virtual reality, the need for more Christian movies and video games, Facebook censorship, and a stern warning about one of the godless, offensive prime time TV shows. Also, were there satanic images in the background of the Super Bowl halftime show?

As Christians adversity is an interesting thing from this perspective: None of us truly wants to experience it; but if we are not then we are probably not truly sold out for Jesus Christ and the gospel. If this sounds harsh you can blame Jesus Himself because he warned that opposition and adversity were sure to happen to His followers. So if we are not facing adversity or opposition perhaps the first thing we should do is ask God to reveal why our lives do not seem offensive to the world.

When adversity and opposition arise how do we handle it as committed Christians? Dave Wager of Silver Birch Ranch and Nicolet Bible Institute wrote a book titled "Beyond the Resistance: Learning to Face Adversity" that is the subject of our discussion this morning.
