Today's guest is Dr. Corey Miller, PhD, is the President/CEO of Ratio Christi. While he grew up in Utah as a sixth generation Mormon, he came to Christ in 1988 and he has since been a youth and college pastor, a Bible college and university professor, campus minister, lecturer, and first and foremost an evangelist. From 2009-15 he served on staff with Cru's Faculty Commons ministry at Purdue. He is an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Comparative Religions at Indiana University-Kokomo. He is variously published in journals.

He is co-author of the outstanding book, Leaving Mormonism: Why Four Scholars Changed their Minds (2017), and co-editor of Is Faith in God Reasonable? Debates in Philosophy, Science, and Rhetoric (2014). He holds masters degrees in philosophy, biblical studies, and in philosophy of religion and ethics. His PhD is in philosophical theology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Miller lives with his wife Melinda and three children in Indiana. He is passionate about defending and proclaiming the truth of the Gospel.

Christians are not immune to problems, confusion and sometimes even feeling somewhat depressed. The world offers several options including Psychology and medication, but as John Rosemond discussed yesterday these can sometimes lead to more problems. The Word of God is absolute, eternal truth, sufficient for all things. In our second half hour today, we discuss a Biblical Counseling Course being offered in our area to help Christians minister to one another with wisdom when life becomes challenging.

In our first segment, we check in with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council to discuss president Trump's State of the Union speech, the reaction of the Left, the Senate failing to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and an important election coming up this month in WI as well as obstacles to passing strong pro-life legislation in Wisconsin.

Today's guest is author and respected parenting expert, John Rosemond. His weekly parenting column is syndicated in approximately 225 newspapers. He has worked in the field of family psychology since 1971, and has penned 18 best-selling books on parenting and family issues. The list of his credentials is quite long and yet, he warns Christians about the use of Psychology therapy. He believes psychiatry and psychology have done more harm than good.

Liberals have successfully painted themselves as champions for human rights, yet they overwhelmingly continue to support the murder of innocent children in the womb. Somehow, some way they have successfully dismissed the life of an innocent child as something less than a human right. And sadly a majority of Americans and even professing Christians have historically favored abortion to some extent. But is the tide of public opinion starting to change?

This morning we are joined by Stephanie Gray, an international pro-life speaker who began speaking publicly at age 18. She has appeared on almost every major television network and spoken at dozens of college campuses including Yale, George Washington University and California-Berkeley. And last year she spoke at Google in a speech that went viral titled "Abortion: From Controversy to Civility". She is a born-again believer who is changing minds and hearts by God's power and grace.

So many distractions and obligations fill our time these days it is easy to fail to see the big picture when it comes to history, societies, and agendas being fulfilled all around us.

God has a plan for this world and every person. Jesus Christ will return one day to rule for eternity and judge the eternal souls of every human being, and nothing Satan does will thwart God's plan. But that does not stop Satan from trying to deceive people by convincing them that we can plot our own future and eternity, apart from God's will and plan. And with each passing year Satan is setting the stage for the rule of his puppet, anti-Christ, through complicit people and earthly systems.

Our guest today is Patrick Wood who has written books and developed resources to help people see the big picture. He is a born-again believer exposing the globalist movement and he shares some thoughts about what is happening to us both behind the scenes and right under our noses. Historically, the powerful and most influential have moved away from God, and he touches on the elitist Bilderberg group, Darwinism, Fabianism, Rockefellers, and the Trilateral Commission.

The news swirling around Washington D.C. is that we are about to hear about the exposure of illegal activities within the Obama Administration where American citizens, including then presidential candidate Donald Trump, were spied upon in direct violation of federal law. All this against the background of accusations against President Trump that he colluded with Russians to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. Like an excellent magician, the Left is great at distracting people with one hand while the other hand does the dirty work behind the scenes.

In other news, we may be surrendering our privacy due to our fascination with technology such as new products Alexa and Amazon Echo. Are we virtually giving big corporations access to our homes, personal information, and even private conversations. Are we headed toward a "Big Brother" State as predicted in the classic book 1984? Eric Barger suggests Christians are becoming "enemies of the state."

In our first segment, we check in with Jay Seegert of The Starting Point Project to discuss how feelings and opinions have increasingly become "truth" to many people, and the dangers of this trend.

The federal Government recently experienced a short shut down over the issue of immigration and the so-called "dreamers," and unless our leaders come up with a plan to address the immigration issue facing our nation, another shut down may happen again. Conservatives are insisting that border security and a comprehensive plan on immigration be adopted while most liberals seem to want a form of "blanket amnesty" for illegal immigrants.

Does the Word of God address the issue of immigration? Today we share a perspective from Laura Lacey of Christian Headlines.

In our first segment we talk with Steve Sonderman, coordinator of the No Regrets Men's Conference. What is the role of Christian men in our churches, family and society, and how is the enemy trying to undermine the role of Christian men as leaders both in the home and in our communities?

God's Word is under attack and indictment these days in the court of public opinion. It is being mocked and ridiculed as antiquated thinking in an "enlightened" world.

Now God does not need us to defend Him or His Word. One day every knee will bow before Him. But Jesus did appoint us as His ambassadors to share the good news of salvation available to all people through confession, repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. We are to be witnesses to all He taught and point people to His return. But are we effective, believable witnesses? Or does our testimony fall on deaf ears because we are unreliable witnesses, discredited by the life we live?
