This is a short conversation about our very dysfunctional 2 party system with Intelligence Squared debate moderator John Donvan which previews their debate from Thursday Feb 13th in San Francisco where the  motion is "Two Cheers for Two Parties"

December 27 2019 is one of the darkest days in the northeast and it was one of the darkest days of my depression. I was home alone and had hit a real bottom. I was working hard on my podcast and reaching out to my network but transitions are challenging and mine has been rough. 

I had already reached out to a couple of people to seek their counsel but I thought that my friend Kelly Carlin would be someone who could really help me see some light on the darkest of days. I was right about one thing that day. Calling Kelly proved to be very helpful and I tried my best to recreate some of that conversation on today's episode of Stand Up.
