Episode #51! Three gentlemen I'm fortunate to call friends sit down to catch up on life. Jake, Danny, and Stew sit in and we discuss Danny's first attempt at flat-track motorcycle riding. We dive into the birth of VIRUS MOTO, a motorcycle shop in Signal Hill Ca, and Jake's role as partial owner. We hit on the topic of being a so-called "essential" worker and banter about the difference in appreciation for hard work in California vs other states. Be sure to hit up VIRUS MOTO for your motorcycle build needs! Insta: @virusmoto_ Keep up with the show on Instagram! @standingstillpodcast
Ash and Lili are two creative friends that live their lives to pursue just that, creativity. From modeling and photography to dancing professionally, these women talk days with, and without, confidence. We talk society's demands for what's "sexy". I question the moments we feel "unstoppable" and the difference between men and women physical standards. Stew! Good God, what an all around good dude. This episode strikes a balance between two friends catching up with laughs and what we're currently chasing in life and discovering the hard lessons Stew has learned in life. His road to racing in X-Games, what character traits he values, some of the benefits of living in Texas, and some great laughs throughout. Thanks for listening! Insta:@standingstillpodcast
We all know individuals close and far that make such an impact. They have traits that impress and traits that last. Individuals that spread a unique positivity all their own. Too often do I discover these truly amazing people to be struggling. Struggling with themselves, in a unique way all their own. This podcast is to show I, and so many, care. I sit down alone and breakdown my most vulnerable thoughts: what I wrote right before, and after, the most difficult depression, and stage, of my life. Finding identity, fake it till you make it, what still means so much to me four years later, and so much more.
I've been trying to get a few friends from work to come on the show for some time now. I knew if I could carry the laughs we always produce at work and make it relatable, I'd have a killer episode. I could write questions that would cause us to argue over a "winner". Like who has the highest IQ and who would get laid first under the right circumstances. Good laughs, good times. Episode #46 was one to remember. John, Ross, and James. Thanks boys.
Hugo Salvador joins the Standing Still Podcast to discuss his ventures in art and graphic design. We ponder what type of character he may be chasing and his focus on only working on labors of love. Social media today and what brand is "killing it" at simply being a good brand. To finish, I answer Hugo's question of what drives me to do the Standing Still Podcast. Thanks for listening, and if you enjoyed the show, please comment, leave a review, and subscribe! Instagram: @standingstillpodcast
About a month ago, I wrote down a list. The list was simple. Titled, "Who do I want to be?", I jotted down what I seemed to be chasing in life. Simple sentences that maybe had a bigger meaning. This podcast is the discussion of these jotted down thoughts. Two individuals I find to be absolutely amazing join me to bounce ideas. Their names are Danny and Adri.
STANDING STILL IS BACK! Chris and his girl Ari join me on a lovely Saturday night to kick back and get to know each other. They open up about what they're currently pursuing and some of they're accomplishments thus far. Absolute mountainous goals such as losing 117 lbs, striving to be the example we needed growing up, and starting a personal youth basketball training company to name a few. Sky is the limit with these two individuals. Take a listen and I'm sure you'll agree...
Episode #42 of The Standing Still Podcast! This episode was a long time coming. Carl Edwards and Bill Small are both rooted in the construction industry. Both have experience working in the field as well as managing from a distance. We discuss every aspect of having a career and how it compares with yesterday's generation and the generation getting started today. Bill's son, and my good friend, Will joins in to balance out my opinion of our generations contributions. I have nothing but respect for these gentleman, and I gained great perspective. I hope you will do the same!
