Basso, Danny Khazem and Mark Paniccia. Star Wars Splash Page is a weekly podcast dedicated solely to contemporary Star Wars comics published by Marvel, Dark Horse and previously IDW, featuring views about the current week's comics, interviews with the writers, artists, colorists, letterers and editors who create them, as well as the latest details on publishing schedules, upcoming series and mini-series, so that you, the listener have more detail and context about the comics that are a vital part of Star Wars canon, lore and legends.

It's the 75th issue of Doctor Aphra (when you combine the 40 issues of the first volume and the 35 issues of the second volume) and the latest outing, #35, delivers a mighty wallop, what with the Dark Droids tie-in and Aphra's seemingly new abandon when it comes to interpersonal relationships.

Comics Discussed This Week:

• Doctor Aphra (Vol. 2) #35 (5:29)

Star Wars Comics New to Marvel Unlimited This Week:

• Bounty Hunters #34

News:

• Star Wars: Visions is returning in November, with the first of a series of likely one-shots written and illustrated by Peach Momoko. We're expecting more of these stand-alone stories that are purportedly to be untethered from traditional canon.
• Charles Soule is offering teasers and tidbits about October's start of The High Republic: Shadows of Starlight four-issue mini-series on his Twitter feed.
• November's solicits are due out this week.
