Etsy is rolling out some new initiatives, changes in direction and focus that will affect a lot of us who sell on the platform. There is a new push to feature “Quality shops”, Star seller and True vintage/handmade products in shoppers’ search results and tamp down the growing wave of mass-produced fast-fashion and AI-designed junk.
This week Amanda goes over the points brought up in the company’s recent stock-holder transparency report And talks about ways she believes we can make sure our shops are seen in a positive light and pushed up, not down on the platform.
